Another “us lately” update. We celebrated 15 years of marriage on Thanksgiving. The kids are growing. Looking back on this blog makes me sentimental of how much I documented my pregnancies and their first few years. Still hanging onto this blog for these memories. We are thriving. 🫶🏻

It’s been a year and a half since I’ve posted on this thing. The last personal update was us finally being reunited after one of the most horrific deployment we had endured. Dealing with the trauma of a near catastrophic crash of the submarine he was on. Not even a month later having to bury not only his dad but his uncle as well. Struggling with my own mental health trying to keep it together for him and my children. Planning a cross country move back to the east coast. Gaining all the weight back due to all the stress of it all.

However, can confidently say since we moved to Charleston we have been THRIVING as individuals and as a family. I’m doing extremely well. I’ve made immense steps in making myself a priority in ways I was unable to do so during that timeframe that set me back mentally and physically.

I’m doing great. I truly hope that all of you are doing just as well, and if not, the storm will pass. ♥️
