Hi my name is Max! I am a 3 1/2 year old husky/shepherd mix. I am a loving pup! Meeting me you wouldn't tell that I was chained outside for most of my life. At 6 months old my first family gave me up. The family they gave me to didn't realize the commitment or responsibility it was having a dog. They didn't realize the type of dog I would grow up to be. They kept me chained outside with little to no food or water for 2 years. I was recently taken away from that situation. I have been to the vet and my blood work tested positive for Heart worms. Heart worms is a horrible disease that can lead to a dog’s death if left untreated. I have started the treatment but my new family needs help with the medical bills.
