「 Disappointing.
That was what the teen thought when he was first confronted by one of the unnatural creatures crawling through the crisp snow, eyes wide and wild and maw dripping with saliva that stunk. It wasn’t like he hadn’t seen anything like it before, not being human himself, but it lacked the smarts any other demon would have.
The most impressive thing was the fact it had the gal to bear it’s fangs at him, when despite it’s size and monstrous form, it was hardly anything impressive.
At least, to him.
It lacked any tact, blindly going straight for his throat, and the sound it’s skull made when he caved it in with his bare hands was dull.
Whoever ran this needed better obstacles, Brago thought as he nudged the unmoving beast with a black-clad foot. Well, now that that was out of the way, maybe he’d actually bother to find the person who’d end up stuck with his wave of dismissive emotions. Wiping clawed hands on the black fur covering his form, he moved to leave the area but paused mid-step.
Dark gaze swinging through the treeline, he let his eyes lock onto a less monster-like form in the shadows cast by the moon overhead. Guests, huh. Figures. It’s not like the bastard on the ground had been quiet with it’s hungry roars. 」
What?
If you’ve got something to say, make it quick.
He wasn't going to have to look very far, in that case.
"It's fuckin' cold..." the girl muttered for the umpteenth time to herself, mouth falling into a frown at the puffs of white accompanying each shaky breath. Not only did she get dragged to this place, but her first glimmer of hope when it came to escaping this place any time soon turned out to be a trap. Some kind of sick game. On top of all that..
Green eyes fell to her wrist, and she sighed, rubbing at the black eyesore that was etched into her skin. Partner, huh? What a nice cherry on top, as if this whole ordeal wasn't enough. The more she thought about it, the more Isabel could feel herself being pulled in a specific direction -- almost like she had a built in compass.
It was in the midst of her confusion and distress that she heard the roars from up ahead. Ironically, that seemed to be where her body was urging her to go. Huh. Similar to a rubber band finally being allowed to snap back after a stretch, she gave into her instincts and let her feet operate on autopilot as she wandered forward, staying close to the trees. What she saw next, however, rendered her unable to look away.
A boy? A boy that could take out a beast with his bare hands? A boy that -....spotted her, apparently. Not that that mattered. A tiny form separated itself from the mass of foliage upon being addressed, immediately blurting, "Whoa! You..You killed it! With just your hands - you really, really killed it!" Ah. Observant as always.
