                    with her legs lined with fishnets crossed dinah reclined herself against the wooden chair, across from her teammate kaldur'ahm, whom had been promoted to aquaman. they had decided to meet together for coffee, and discuss the rather INTERESTING turn in events with half the league walking out under his lead. she shook her head, and reached across the table, putting her hand atop his copper hand to coax him. it was unfair for him, and she knew her younger comrade must be under a lot of stress with everything that happened.

        ❝     they will realize soon enough that they have made the wrong decision, and you can bet like hell i’m going to give ollie an ear full when i get home.      ❞ she reassured, half jokingly.

                    dinah stood parallel to dove on her toes, fists drawn up against her chest, her rouge lips pulled into a smirk as her icy glare stared at her sparring partner. she rolled her leather jacket off her shoulders, letting it slap against the cushioned mat under her feet.

         ❝     think you can remember what i just showed you?     ❝  she taunted, flexing her gloved fingers.

                     dinah moved across the eerie graveyard. the only light being from the glowing moon overhead casting a glow across the dirt. as she moved past the rough tomb stones, her boots crunching against the gravel, the hairs on the back of her neck raised to alertness, blue eyes darting across the dark land as she scanned for the villain.

                  once she had received word of his whereabouts in the city, she made it her duty to rush to the scene of where she would expect him to be hiding and sure enough she was taken off guard by the swinging of a sickle slicing towards her. she emitted a gasp, as she leapt away from the scene, turning her head sharply to face him.

𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐏 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐇 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆. the stories andexperiences a woman like she had gone through always caught diana’s attention. she carried herself so strong andconfidently, in ways that inspired the amazon. but besides that, she genuinely missed speaking with her old comrade in general.

dinah eyes the tall amazonian, as she reclines against the hard table top, her palms supporting her weight. dinah's garnet lips curve to a grin, it was nice to finally catch up wih her teammate after dealing with so much battle— although of course she wasn't one to deplore a good fight.

          ❝     thank you diana, and so do you of course.     ❝     she chuckled softly, bringing the fragile glass mug to her lips as she took a sip of the hot coffee.

                  black canary stood face to face against the assassin, her fists scrunched tightly, pulled close to her chest as she balanced herself on the toes of her boots.

                  she was on a normal patrol before running into the armed mercenary, and judging by the fact he was fully suited up, it was safe to assume that he was up to no good.

                   ❝     give up easy and maybe i won't hurt you TOO BAD.     ❞

                    canary wrapped her gloved hands across her waist,her blonde brow arched high as she looked up and down at the son of her long time colleague, wonder woman.

                  ❝     wonder boy? how original.    ❞ she teased, never understanding the trend of copying their predecessors alias and replacing their own pronouns at the end.

                  canary glared at the recruit who maneuvered right past her in the justice league watchtower. her gaze was burning into the opposing female's back, or more specifically the sash of arrows slung across her back, of course why not add yet another archer to the team, wasn’t ollie enough? she audibly scoffed.

                    ❝    wasn't ONE archer enough?     ❞

              dinah crouched on one knee besides the metal crate, only one of MANY crowding the diminuitive dock. her gentle cobalt eyes watching the suspicious trade partaking before her, their targets preforming an exchange of a dubious box for a suitcase which could only be assumed to be money. she tapped her two fingertips to the entrance of her ear.

             the touch of her fingers activated the communications device between her kaldur, who was in charge of spying the insides of the ship.

               ❝     aqualad, their exchange has begun, are you in place?    ❞
