Cleanse A Friend šæš¬
(A poppet spell for breaking negative energy)
Create a poppet with a taglock for your friend or family member who is dealing with bad energy or vibes. Lovingly bathe it in a cleansing bath of charged water with rosemary, lemon, salt- maybe some rose petals to help soothe them.
Since youāre using a poppet feel free to use rainwater or moon water, rose petals from any grocery store or boutique, and even essential oils rubbed into the poppetās fabric/skin.
Afterwards, draw tiny protection sigils or bindrunes on thin strips of paper and fashion them into wrist braces and a necklace to twist around the poppets arms and neck
Keep in a safe place until at least your friend/family feels better- or as long as you like.
Repeat the cleansing bath if needed as necessary.

šøMermaid Self Care šø
Mermaids are one of my biggest influences and help me when I need to feel empowered and calm. Here are some ways you can connect to your inner mermaid.
š§wash and brush out your hair, and spray it with a sweet smelling Mist or perfume
š§cuddle up with your mermaid tail blanket if you have one, and sip a tea made of vanilla, rosepetals and Rosemary
š§ draw a deep bath and fill it with salt, add blue coloring or a blue bath bomb if you can. Light a white candle and put on some ocean sounds. Close your eyes and submerge yourself in the water, listening to the sounds of the ocean dampened by the water around you.
š§ take off your makeup and slap on some moisturizer, let your bare face breathe
š§ cook a seafood meal - battered hake, garlic prawns and buttery mussels. Eat with only your fingers, savoring the oceanās bounty
š§ pour some sea sand and water in a jar, add shells and glitter and seal it tight. Shake and watch the sand and glitter swirl to calm you down.
š§ put a shell up to your ear and listen to the waves. If you have a shower, listen to the shell in the shower- you should hear what sounds like mermaids singing
š§ make collages with affirmations and positive messages to use as phone wallpapers or send to friends
š§ buff and file your nails so theyāre pretty and sharp
š§ hold a shell in your hand as youāre watching television or lounging around and let its magic flow into you
š§ drink water and hydrate yourself
š§ gaze into a mirror and affirm what you love about all your features
š§ create a sugar scrub and exfoliate your legs
š§ wear pearl jewelry in your ears and around your neck
š§ go to the sea or a swimming pool and float on your back
š§ if youāre landlocked, find earth cams set near beaches so you can watch live streams of the ocean
š§ sing softly to yourself as you go about your day
š§get in touch with your sexuality
š§ meditate on mermaids and the ocean
š§ go to an aquarium and spend some time watching the fish in silence
š§cut ties with negative people in your life
š§ if youāre angry or emotional, let your storm rage and die down naturally

Tarot Exercise #1
1.Ā Ā Ā Ā Sit with your deck in your hands. Get comfortable and do some deep breathing.
2.Ā Ā Ā Ā Visualize light channeling into your deck. Call upon what you wish to be present.
3.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ask the cards; āWhat card do I need to familiarize myself with right now.
4.Ā Ā Ā Ā Shuffle your deck until you feel the card has made itself known.
5.Ā Ā Ā Ā Take that card, and place it face down.
6.Ā Ā Ā Ā In your journal, record what you may be expecting.
7.Ā Ā Ā Ā Flip the card over. Whatās the first thing that catches your eye? Second? Third? Write these down.
8.Ā Ā Ā Ā How do these make you feel? Write that down.
The symbolism of this card is how this card reads to you, as a reader. Thereās no right or wrong way to read a card. If you feel like you want some verification on the card, going to Biddytarot to read the explanation may lead to further insight. If their description doesnāt match yours, no worries. Thatās perfectly okay.
An alternative to this exercise is starting at the first card in the deck, which is The Fool and then progressing your way throughout the cards. The cards will primarily show you what you need to learn and make progress towards in the moment, so at different times the cards may tell a different story.

witch tip
okay so like?? i always see shit about divination where you GOTTA buy these extra books on how to do it. specifically tarot.
im gonna be honest, my first deck was crowleys thoth deck (it was my dadās) and i was pretty quick to get in tune with him. and i have learned the absolute best way to read is using your intuition.
like say you pull a card that makes no sense, suddenly the thought of what it could possibly mean in this situation pops into your head, thats the deck telling you what it means.
tarot is a language. its universal (ish) for most (not all) decks. like my newest addition has..... some weird meanings, but by listening and meditating with your deck its easier to be able to read
and imo those tarot books are kinda rip offs, all they do is say this prettyyyy much and say the meanings of the cards (just use the guidebook for your deck!!!!)
and in case of there being no guidebook for your deck (cough my thoth deck) listen, and look up general interpretations online ! when i was first starting i would look up ā[card] meaning thoth deckā and there would be this one website thatd always pop up from an experienced reader and id use that. and eventually i got lazy and he started being easier with helping me interpret
