Severus heard his little comment and rolled his eyes, but didnât stop. He went to his class and took a seat at the back of the classroom. He didnât want to be there but if he didnât make an appearance in some of his classes, Dumbledore would start asking questions.
Francois decided to brush off the Snakeâs comment - he had to go to class, and he couldnât let someone so immature bug him all day. Francois hated History of Magic with a fiery passion, but alas, it wasnât optional. It wasnât until he had walked into the classroom and saw Severus sitting in the back that he remembered they took said class together. No worries. There was never any need to interact with others in History of Magic.
Except today was a bit different, apparently. Today, Binns started assigning partners for a project that would count for a significant part of the studentsâ grades. Of course, Francois thought nothing of it. In fact, he had already nearly forgotten about about the incident with that Snape boy, and quietly joked with his classmates while Binns droned on. Yet just as he laughed with one of his friends about a few Quidditch players who collided the other day, Francois paused at the sound of his name, followed by Severus Snapeâs. âPardon, Professor?â Francois inquired.
âDelacour and Snape. You are to do a presentation on the involvement of wizards in what muggles call, âWorld War I.ââ
