In the opening match, Team Flair (Ted DiBisae, The Mountie, The Warlord and Ric Flair) faced Team Piper (Bret Hart, Virgil, The British Bulldog and Roddy Piper) in a Survivor Series match.

The British Bulldog was eliminated by Ric Flair via pinfall.

The Warlord was eliminated by Roddy Piper via pinfall.

In the end, Ric Flair was the sole survivor for Team Flair after the remaining members of both teams were disqualified for ignoring the referee warning, leading to a post match brawl between both teams. (Survivor Series 11/27/1991)
