My name is Ophelia. Fitting, isn’t it? A girl named after someone who drowned, dressed in flowers that wilt faster than they bloom. A reminder that beauty is brief, and death is patient. When you close your eyes, what's the first memory that burns through the dark?

When I close my eyes, it’s always the same thing. A hallway. Too long, too quiet. The lights flicker just enough to make you wonder if they’re dying, or if you are. And at the very end, there’s a door that shouldn’t be there. I remember reaching for it as a child - small hand, cold knob - and the feeling that something on the other side already knew I was coming. That’s the memory that burns. Not what was behind the door … but the moment before it opened.

That's a tough question to answer, I don't really know. I guess I used to only see what the world was meant to see, but now I guess I see myself more, or at least something Sally can like. I don't know if this makes sense.
