She doesn’t like clothing that is too tight, and while she doesn’t normally wear dresses, she isn’t opposed to them.
HANDEDNESS: Right-handed
STRENGTHS:
Impulsive: Felicity often lacks impulse control, acting upon her thoughts not long after they pop into her head, and sometimes even before they do. While this does sometimes get her in trouble, especially when it comes to a fight, it does lead her down the right path on occasion and allows her to feel like she isn’t holding herself back.
Brave: Little scares Felicity, and even when things do scare her, she will do everything in her power to make herself appear as if they don’t. She doesn’t like to feel as if she is being held back, and wants to try anything and everything, even if on the inside it may make her heart tremble.
Hard-Working: Because of her lack of prior knowledge on all things magical, and relentless bullying from a lot students her age because of her being a “mudblood” or a “yank”, she works as hard as she possibly can in her classes to catch up to the others and hopefully surpass them, wanting to show them she can become more than her blood or birthplace.
Ambitious: Felicity has never found something to be unachievable or unreachable. She strives to be the best at whatever she loves, believing that there is no point in doing something if you aren’t trying to be the best.
Flirty/Funny: Felicity has never been shy and loves to play around and mess with people, especially those that she is friends with. She will even take this a step further and playfully flirt with her male friends, finding it funny to make them blush, or because she enjoys having them tease her back, making things less boring.
WEAKNESSES:
Stubborn: Once she has her mind set on something, she is very unlikely to change her mind. Once making a decision she does not like to go back on it and would rather stand her ground and feel like her pride is intact than admit she was wrong and face embarrassment.
Reckless: Because she is so quick to act and impulsive, she often makes decisions that might not be in her or anyone else’s best interest. She can at times endanger herself or others, or cause her and those around her to get in trouble for her dumb decisions if she does not think things through ahead of time.
Self-Conscious: While she may appear brave, confident and ambitious, she secretly feels a lot of self-doubt within herself because of all of the harassment and bullying she has had and still receives at school. She often doubts herself and lets comments get to her, but hides behind her happy, strong-willed facade.
Explosive: Because she tends to keep all of her negative feelings inside, they tend to build up over time and can cause her to explode with emotions when triggered. This usually results in her yelling, cursing, possibly even hexing someone or something that has caused her to bubble over.
Jealous: She does at times feel jealousy and envy, both for the people who are naturally good at subjects in school or who had a lot of prior experience she couldn’t have. She also tends to feel jealous seeing the person she cares most for spending time with other women.
LIKES: Quidditch, mythical creatures, sports, popular music, dancing, sunshine
DISLIKES: Rain, old music, rude people, bad grades, bland food
THEME SONG: “Dear August” PJ Harding & Noah Cyrus
SMOKE/DRINK/DRUGS: Will drinks and smoke in social situations
HEALTH: Very healthy from being very physical and playing sports most of her life, however she does tend to be covered in bruises a lot from falling or getting knocked off her broom during Quidditch.
HOMETOWN: San Francisco, California
CURRENT RESIDENCE: London, England
SOCIOECONOMIC STATUS: Middle Class
BIOGRAPHY: Felicity was born in San Francisco, California to her two loving, muggle parents. She grew up very active, playing sports, and had a large group of friends. However, when she was nine, her family had to relocate to London for her father’s job, and she lost all of her friends in the move, as well as many of her sports and the beautiful sunny weather she was accustomed to. She fell into a funk for the first year, until her life changed when her home was visited by a messenger with her Hogwarts acceptance letter who explained to her family all about the wizarding world. With so many giant changes to her young life, Felicity felt extremely overwhelmed, and the bullying and teasing that took place at her new school did not help much either. However, she found herself attracted to a young group of troublemaking boys. She was amazed by the confidence of James and Sirius, and loved that despite their pure blood status, they were kind to muggle-born students and did not take themselves too seriously. She wanted not only to be just like them, but wanted to prove to her bullies that she could be just as good, if not better than the pure blood witches and wizards. She forced herself out of her shell and made her way into their small group of troublemaking friends and stuck close to them throughout her years at school. She even found herself becoming much closer than she expected to the eldest Black son. She admired him for his boisterous personality, his resistance to his parent’s ideals, and his overall kindness, even if he did at times also bully some darker-magic-inclined students. However, due to their close friendship, and Sirius’ inclination towards flirting and hooking up with many of the other girls on campus, she had trouble believing he ever could like her back. And despite his leaving his family and being disowned, she still worried how his family would react to his relationship with a muggle-born girl. Their feelings for each other grew, until during her seventh year at school, when the first wizarding war was in full swing, and her parents became victims of the Death Eaters attacks on muggles. For most of her time at Hogwarts, she had wanted to become a professional Quidditch player, having found a deep love for the new sport, enjoying the feel of flying and being free. Following her parents’ deaths she fell into a deep depression, which in turn became a deep-seated anger and rage towards dark-magic and Death Eaters, often causing her to get into fights with other students at school who fell onto that side of the magic spectrum. Her goals changed instantly and she decided to become an Auror to fight against dark magic. Following her graduation she joined the Order of the Phoenix along with her friends and put off her new career goal, wanting to begin her fight as soon as possible and not wanting to adhere to government obligations. While she fought hard, she found her heart only broke further as her friends fell one by one, the deaths of James and Lily hitting her incredibly hard, followed by the cursing of her other close friends Alice and Frank Longbottom. The disappearance of Peter and the imprisonment of Sirius only further sent her into a spiral. She maintained Sirius’ innocence, but felt useless as he was taken to Azkaban regardless. The war cost her everything that she loved, and she became an auror like she had planned, but felt little joy or happiness in her life, having left her dream of professional Quidditch and being with the love of her life in the past, along with the ghosts of all of her dead friends and family. She attempts to stay in close contact with Remus, finding him to be one of the few pieces she has left of her old life, though she finds herself falling into acute bouts of depression when she does, as all of her memories flood back. She has been unable to have contact with Sirius while in Azkaban, and finds that while her love for him still holds a tight grip on her heart, she feels him to be just as dead as the rest of her friends, as she has no chance of seeing him again.
relationships.
CANON CHARACTERS:
James Potter - Felicity finds James to feel like the brother she never had growing up. She is extremely close to him, as he taught her a lot of what he knew about Quidditch growing up, and was very kind when it came to helping her learn more about the new world she lived in. She likes to goof around with him, teases him often for his unrequited, puppy-love over Lily Evans, and respects him as their Quidditch captain.
Peter Pettigrew - Despite his shyness, Felicity often treats Peter like a younger brother, teasing and playing with him, as she sees him much like she saw herself when she first had to make friends. She finds him a bit odd and awkward at times, but chalks it up to his lack of interpersonal relationships skills.
Remus Lupin - Like the rest of her friends, she finds Remus to be like a brother to her. She’ll often find herself reaching out to him when she can’t understand a certain topic or subject in school, and likes to study and practice with him since he seems to so easily grasp many of the lessons. She has taken note of his anxiety, and occasionally new scratches or scars on his body, but has never wanted to push him or make him feel uncomfortable, and knows he will open up to her if he feels he wants to.
Severus Snape - Felicity often finds herself on James’ side when it comes to Severus. While she often will not outright antagonize him of her own accord, she will back up James if he finds himself in a tussle with the Slytherin. She doesn’t accept his affinity for the dark arts, and therefore lets her anger get the better of her sometimes when it comes to him and other Slytherin students like him.
Lily Evans - Felicity finds herself growing very close to the red headed apple of James’ eye. Having come from very similar backgrounds, both having muggle parents, she feels she can relate to her in a lot of aspects and they often like to teach each other things about America and Britain alike. She was her first friend at Hogwarts, connecting with her on a deep level and became close with James and the other boys in turn as James non-stop bothered them over his crush on Lily. She loves her like a sister and for her strong-will, and while she often likes tease her about James’ love for her, she can’t help but laugh and admire her for making James work for her love.
Alice Longbottom - Alice was another student Felicity looked up to and admired when she first came to Hogwarts. Alice was kind, smart, courageous and was always one of the top students in their classes. She thought her to be amazing for her dream of one day becoming an auror, and respected her for wanting to make a difference in the world. She became very close to her in her seventh year, wanting to learn as much about defense against the dark arts from her as she possibly could.
Regulus Black - Felicity has a bit of a strained relationship with Regulus. She often gets frustrated with his views on dark arts, muggles, “mudblood” witches and wizards, and his views on magical blood in general. However she finds it hard to hate him, knowing he is Sirius’ younger brother, and that unfortunately he succumbed more to his parents will than Sirius did. She often avoids him when alone, but will attempt to be kind and tolerate him when around others. Being Sirius’ brother, she would never actually harm him and even wishes to keep her language kind with him as well.
PARENTS:
Andrew and Natalie Brown: Her father worked as an accountant for a large corporation in the U.S., but was asked to relocate to London to help open their first international office in Europe. Her mother was homemaker, but after moving to London and Felicity being shipped off to Hogwarts, she fills her time by working at a local library in London. They both adore their daughter and while they are still learning about the wizarding world, they support her in any way that they can, even buying her a beautiful broomstick for Christmas when she decided to try out for the Quidditch team.

RELATIONSHIP WITH OC: Felicity first met Sirius through James, who in-turn she met through her friend Lily. She found him funny and likeable, though a bit brutish and even more exhausting with how big of a flirt he was. While Felicity would also be termed a flirt, she often kept that part of herself to her friends, often teasing or flirting with them, while she watched Sirius flirt with most of the pretty girls at Hogwarts. She couldn’t blame the girls for fawning over him though. He was young, tall, dark and handsome, and being the heir to the Black family was a big boost for some of them too. He was in every sense the “handsome, rugged bad boy”. And she couldn’t help but fall for him, much like they all did. However, he was one of her closest friends, and not only that, she was a muggle born witch. A mudblood. His family would never accept her, and while Sirius didn’t exactly accept his family in return, it was hard for her to keep that thought out of her mind. Not only that, but the way she watch him flirt and date with other girls made her feel like her love was often unrequited. He never seemed like the type to settle down, and Felicity wasn’t interested in ruining a friendly relationship all for something that would possibly end up as a one-night stand at best. It wasn’t worth it. She’d pine for him, year after year, flirting but never taking it far enough to be perceived as serious, though it became harder and harder for her to keep her feelings and emotions inside as she grew older, especially once he left and was disowned by his family and moved in with James.
TROPES:
Friends to Lovers: Both are very close friends, spending most of their time in school growing up together and spending much of their time together. However, because of this friendship, they often don’t take each others flirting with one another seriously, and consciously worry about the chance of ruining a years-long friendship over feelings that might not be shared.
Forbidden Love: Being a muggle-born witch, Felicity learned quickly how much those with Pureblood despised her very existence. While people like James and Sirius treated her with kindness, she knew that very few would accept a romantic relationship between her and a pureblood man, especially one from the highly-respected Black family. While he did eventually choose to leave his family and was disowned, she couldn’t help but worry that she would only cause others' views of him to worsen because of her relationship with him.
Soulmates: Both her and Sirius have held strong feelings for the other since day one. Felicity has often felt entangled in his world, finding it hard to imagine a life without him in it in some way, even if just as friends. While she has attempted to form crushes on others and even dated some other classmates here and there, she has always found herself eventually pulled back into his aura.
Unrequited Love: Felicity has often felt her love for Sirius to be unrequited, due to his tendency for flirting and dating other young women at Hogwarts, considering the amount of attention he received from them and his tendency towards showing off a playboy-type mentality. While they often teasingly flirt with each other, she has never taken it seriously and feels that if she were to be more serious in expressing her feelings with him, that he would either push her away, thinking her too much as a friend or sister, or that he might potentially use her like he does with the others.
Second Chance: Following the war, Felicity never married and very rarely, if at all, dated. Losing Sirius to a life in Azkaban was one of the hardest hits to her, compounding on all of her other losses. When he was arrested, she felt a piece of her heart break and become imprisoned with him. When the news came out that he had broken out from Azkaban in 1993, she was tasked with assisting other Aurors and Witch Watches with trying to find and recapture him. She took her orders, but with different intentions in mind if she were to find her young love again.
