Why is it that women can treat me like trash and it's supposed to be fine? But the moment I give it right back to them, suddenly I'm the jerk?

Why should I apologize? They never apologized to me. And I'm not about to be the bigger person. It's frustrating how they expect me to take the high road when they won't even acknowledge their mistakes. I'm tired of being the one who always has to make things right. It's time they take responsibility for their actions instead of expecting me to constantly be the one to mend bridges. I'm annoyed at the unfairness of it all, and I refuse to back down this time.
