BENOPHIE + SMILING
Benophie's Journey (x)
i think s4 did such a good job of showing that benedict and sophie, outside of Being In Love™, just, like… like each other. they laugh together, they have fun together. there's such a fondness and tenderness to their dynamic. they bring out the best parts of each other, the parts they both keep hidden away. it was really lovely to watch. i completely understood why this relationship mattered so much to them and why they fought for it when it would have been so much easier to let it go and forget each other
personally I find it so romantic that once Benedict fell in love with Sophie, he stopped searching for the Lady in Silver. I have seen a couple on twitter to be disappointed by this but idk falling in love over a connection and a lasting spark in a more deliberate way is ten times more romantic for me than love at first sight. in a way I am glad he stopped the search and let go. it also ties well in with the theme/trope of this season. he was enamored by the lady in silver at a ball, but he essentially fell in love with Sophie at the cottage.
also can I say Anthony was not particularly wrong, I think his bigger mistake was not really understanding what Benedict was feeling towards Sophie. I also do doubt it is easy to believe from Anthony's pov that Benedict is in love but I still think he could have tried to understand his brother. But he wasn't wrong about the repercussions of it all if they presented Sophie as only a maid
i have been casually watching Bridgerton every season now and idk what is it with s4 but I am in too deep now. like I looooved s2 too and I did enjoy s1 and s3 but s4 turned me into a fan that I am back reblogging on tumblr and reading fanfic and I adore every relationship in this silly show now
'I hoped it might still work.' Bridgerton 4.07
BRIDGERTON S03E04 / S04E08
#the woman was too stunned to speak
duuuuuuh John keep up 🙄🙄🙄🙄
it kinda felt like Sophie knew more about sex compared to the Bridgerton girls, not a lot but with her saying she heard it might hurt to her tracking her period I feel like it was a subtle way to show the difference between the society vs the working class. it is improper for the unmarried young ladies of the ton to know the slightest but it is important for working class to know for their own sake
If this lady is important to you, do not let her be like one of the projects in your study. Something you are passionate about today but forget about tomorrow. BRIDGERTON (2020- ) | Season 4

mfs just now discovering percy jackson as if it wasn't my one of my greatest middle school hyperfixations that catapulted into me being obsessed with greek mythology, cuisine and history for a long while which inadvertently changed the course of my life as it inspired me to study other cultures to gain a deeper understanding of humanity around the world
