Prompt: Chihiro's dad surprising Chihiro on his birthday with a little surprise party~

Everything had to be perfect, absolutely perfect, Chihiro’s dad thought, setting the cake down gently on the table. He had worked hard on it despite the fact that it looked so incredibly plain. He frowned, looking around at the decorations. Everything looked so very plain and it didn’t feel good enough for his only son. 

However, they felt perfect whenever his son finally returned home from school and yelled, nearly tackling his father in a tight hug. Chihiro and his father embraced, having not seen each other in a month, and proceeded to chatter on excitedly about their adventures. Absolutely perfect.

"No, you see, the Playstation 4 definitely won the conference!!" Chihiro said over the headset, focusing on the video game in his hand. He looked very concentrated, frustrated even. 

"Yeah, I hear they're fixing the problems, but you know it's going to have to build a lot more good publicity based off of the suckage that was that conference...." Chihiro bit his lip and dragged the stylus across the screen of the game. Once there was a happy jingle, he let out a whoop and yells, "YEAH! GUESS WHAT LAYTON! I SOLVED THAT PUZZLE, YEAH!"

It's midnight on a cloudy, breezy night, everything is silent... until. -small pebbles are being thrown at Chihiro's window by Madison-

Chihiro was sound asleep, then opened his eyes a crack when he heard the pebbles being thrown. 

He peeks out of the curtains, blinks, then draws them open. Upon sliding the window up, he calls out, “Madison, what’s up?”

As Chihiro watched Madison open the tent flap, he shrunk in on himself. He was fairly certain that every part of his body had gone cold and stiff and there was a possibility that he had maayybeeee peed himself a little bit. 

Then Madison pulled out the knife and started attacking the pervert and saying things that Chihiro was fairly certain they were curse words and the state of terror became a strong state of shock. How on earth had-

Chihiro scrambled to his feet and looked out of the tent, then knelt, grabbing the DVD player, ready to blugdeon the man if he tried to hurt his friend too. However, it seemed Madison was perfectly capable for holding her own.

At the moment, Madison was practically dripping with complete rage. How dare someone come over and try to interrupt their movie and their fun time? And even worse, how dare someone try and come into their tent, clearly with the intent to hurt them!? Nope, not today. Madison wasn’t about to let that happen. 

Luckily, she seemed to have things under control. As she slashed at him mercilessly, he kept scrambling backwards to dodge, knowing he wasn’t armed and therefore was at a big disadvantage. Finally, he was able to collect himself enough to turn around, and bolt down the sidewalk at high speed. Madison’s parting words were in Japanese now. “And don’t come back, you fucking moron!” 

Turning back to look at Chihiro, the moonlight caught on the blade and made it shine a bit, but Madison had a sweet, unintimidating look on her face now. She was worried now, in fact. “Chihiro, are you okay?”

Chihiro yelps as Madison slashes at the man and winces. While the man clearly had the intention of hurting them....Madison seemed severely intent to deal deadly harm to this man.

Though, who knows what might have happened if Madison didn't have the knife. Chihiro's eyes widen and he nearly hyperventilates as everything that happened hit him. 

"Wh-why was he even here!" Chihiro squeaks, panicking and worried. "What....what was he planning on doing!!??"

"Dad’s not here." He states, shaking slightly, "I…I don’t know who that could be…." He turns to Madison, his eyes wide, "What…what do we do?"

Madison raised an eyebrow, staring at the zipper of the tent. A human’s shadow was growing closer, and she held up a hand to Chihiro, wanting him to be quiet for a moment. Whoever was outside began poking at the zipper, and Madison immediatley stood up, opening the tent flap. The sweatshirt she was wearing had pockets in the front, and one hand was in one of the pockets. 

Outside was a strange man, completely suspicious looking who was peeking in the tent. “Oh? Two young ladies all by themselves. What’re you two doing out here?” Madison grew angry. “None of your business. Please leave us alone” The man grew angry now as well, and tried to pry open the zipper more to get at Madison, who promptly pulled her hand out of her pocket, revealing the blade of a hunters knife she had hidden. Immediately she slashed at him, missing him by only a few inches as she stepped out of the tent and screamed at him in English, calling him every vulgar name she could think of, and telling him to get lost.
