I’ve struggled with acne since I was in 6th grade and was bullied. I would’ve dreamed to have someone sit me down and help me with my face problems. As a woman in her yearly 20’s, it’s FINALLY hit me that I can’t get anything done unless I do it on my own. Follow me on my journey of self help.

The “M” word was a Success!

So I’ve been using the Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System for 3 days as instructed.

And the results are just crazy ridiculous. I’m actually shocked that this system worked, to be quite honest.

So here is a picture from Friday night before I used the system and Sunday night, the last day I use the system till next Friday.

I recommend using this system people.

I can definitely see some differences in my skin after using this system. Next week when I use the system again I’ll post another post system picture focusing on my trouble areas and an after picture so I can really show you the differences.

Microdermabrasion?

So, I’ve been doing some research about my acne. Everything item that I’ve posted about has worked on my skin and hopefully it’s working for yours too.

But I realized my biggest issue besides my acne are my acne holes. Or the medical word for it is Rolling Scars.

When I was in high school I suffered with awful acne and I started picking and a lot went away but I kinda ruined my face by creating little holes in my skin.

I’m in my early 20’s and can’t afford to go to a dermatologist to get this issue resolved but I’ve been doing my research and hopefully found a solution.

Neutrogena Microdermabrasion System.

The instructions say to use 3 times a week so I will be starting today. Apparently after 1 USE I am supposed to see results.

So here is a picture of the product/packaging and my face before I start the application. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 people.

So I haven’t posted in a while...sorry. I should keep this updated for you all. So I’ve discovered this mixture and let me tell ya, I saw and FELT results the moment I took this goop off and the next day when I woke up!

So here’s what you do:

1 teaspoon of Turmeric

1 teaspoon of lemon

Mix together to create a paste and with a brush apply on trouble areas

WARNING! This shit stings!

Keep on for 15-20 minutes and wash off with your favorite face wash. I personally use a clean towel or face scrubber to wash this off because... well...just try using your fingers to wash off and orange is still left on your face....

BUT don’t worry it was not even noticeable the next day.

Finish off with your favorite moisturizer and and let the beauty soak in 💕😁

“Did you hear about Equate Beauty”?

So I’ve been experimenting with this stuff and I got it at Walmart for less than $5 and I was hesitant about buying it because I’ve never heard on reviews on it and I wasn’t sure how effective it was going to be.

But listen, I put this on a gross pimple overnight and in the morning I SAW THE PIMPLE DECREASE IN SIZE!

*It also did not leave me a dark spot

I was so happy with the results that I used it for the next two days!

Now I was an idiot and didn’t look at the directions...and I started to get a nasty rash around my chin area. I IMMEDIATELY stopped using this and put Calamine Lotion on the rash and within ONE DAY the rash was already starting to go away!

“What is this magical lotion you speak of”?

Okay guys so I’ve been falling a little bit behind in giving you all tips and updates but I wanted to be sure this shit was true till I released anything.

So I’ve been using this stuff called Calamine Lotion Skin Protectant. And let me tell ya, I think I’ve struck gold with this stuff!

I started using the lotion Friday, Saturday and Sunday night and I have seen a COMPLETE difference in my face. Even my roommates noticed!

I unfortunately don’t have pictures to share of the first day I used it...whoops BUT I did take a picture tonight and I’ll give you all a comparison picture on Fridays post!

After using Calamine lotion for just a few days I noticed a difference in my oiliness...there was no oil on my face throughout the day, my face was one color! as in the discoloration of the few spots in my face were gone, I even went all three days with NO MAKEUP! my acne scars seemed to be improving as well.

The process I do for the lotion is:

1. Clean face with whichever face wash you use

2. Shake the lotion bottle (seriously! You HAVE to shake the lotion bottle)

3. Squeeze a little calamine on your clean hands and put in face in the areas you want to repair.

DO NOT RUB IN! WILL GO ON LIKE A MASK!

4. Leave on overnight for better results!

5. Wash off with your favorite face wash!

“What is that on her face?”

Okay guys so this was my gross ass face in high school. Don’t get me wrong, there has been A LOT of progress since then, trust me.

I never, NEVER want to go back to this point. EVER. I want everyone to forget this part of me. But I need to show you guys what I looked like.

This part of my life was horrible. Awful. I never wanted to go to school or even go outside. So many tears. So much puss. So many whispers.

I hope to help you all by giving tips for acne. Because I would’ve wished for some help with my acne when I was younger.

“You’re so beautiful”

Hey guys so I’m not really sure how this blog writing works but hey ill give it a try. Since 6th grade I have been bullied about my size and acne. Mostly my acne. Since 6th grade I’ve had one friend who saw past all of my flaws and actually liked me and wasn’t afraid to be seen with me. In 9th grade I made a 2nd friend who saw past all my flaws as well and I cant thank those 2 wonderful people enough. In high school my acne got really bad. So bad that just the slightest touch on my face clear puss would come out. I know...its really disgusting. Something happened one day and I went home and just starting popping my pimples as fast as I could. I think I missed the next day because I realized that was a very bad idea. Eventually my acne kinda cleared. I still got pimples but never as bad as it was in high school.

It has been about 5 years since I’ve graduated and I am still suffering with acne AND acne scars 😩

I’m 23 years old and events have happened in my life that I want to change. I would like to feel pretty. Have the feeling of going to the store without putting makeup on, because if I don’t put any on I get stared at. The feeling of being called, “pretty”, and “beautiful” not because people are obligated to, to try and make me feel better but because I actually am and also feel pretty and beautiful.
