I took the lid off Pretzel’s tank and his reaction was to sit there and flick his tongue angrily at me for several minutes. So more slo-mo tongue flickies! :D

Pretzel has discovered that one of his favourite hiding places when he’s out and about is… a dressing gown pocket!!  The snugglier the better!

I know I haven’t posted in a while, but regardless I wanted to pop back to make a little anniversary post:

Three years ago today, this lovely little spaghetti entered my life as a tiny, tangly knot of gorgeous noodliness, and I love him. <3 

(And for those of you that didn’t know, yes, the above pictures are exactly how Pretzel came by his name... :’D)

I tried to take some festive noodle pictures, but Pretzel was having none of it. Instead he just gave me this baffled expression. :') Pretzel and I hope you're all having a good holiday!

In need of downsizing my snake collection so I have to rehome my hognose snake.

His name is Kevin Bacon and he’s a sweet little boy with a ton of personality. He’s very young.

He eats pink mice and is normally a wonderful eater but is currently off feed due to the season change. Males are finicky eaters too, so serious inquiries only please.

I will only rehome to people with experience keeping snakes as this little fella is my baby and to an inexperienced snake keeper a hognose may be too much to handle as they bluff a lot and can be difficult to feed. Some people are afraid of him.

I don’t typically reblog things, but I know I have a lot of followers that are experienced snake keepers (or know people who are!) and would be willing to help find this lovely noodle a good home.

Pretzel was in his Stinky Noodle Timeout Box and he wasn’t very happy about it, so I decided to record his angry tongue waggles in slow motion!

(Sorry for the gross quality, this was filmed on my iphone in awful lighting because Pretzel just couldn’t poop at a more convenient time when the sun was shining, oh no... :’D)

A close-up of Pretzel being a blue-eyed babe!  As you can see, he is not the happiest of noodles right now, but he will be when he’s all shiny and beautiful!

I love his chubby cheeks :D what do you use for his tank? it looks simple but effective

He’s in an Exo Terra faunarium. :)  It is pretty effective - easy to heat and clean out, etc!  He actually does have a fancy wooden viv, but when we tried to move him into it he decided he was going to climb up (and then fall down) the door repeatedly because he doesn’t understand glass, and we’re still trying to figure out the best way to prevent that, haha.    

(But thankfully since he’s a fairly dinky little noodle he never outgrew the tub like I was expecting him to, so he’s happy in there - at least until I can teach him about the concept of transparency??? :L)
