The parties separately focused on joint work on the promotion of the Ukrainian peace formula and the organization of the Global Peace Summit with the participation of the maximum number of states, in particular the countries of the Global South. Particular attention was paid to the issues of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine. The head of the Ukrainian state noted that our country is counting on Germany's effective assistance in supporting the application to join NATO. Emphasizing the importance of continuing comprehensive pressure on the aggressor, the President of Ukraine expressed hope for the leading role of Germany in the adoption by the EU of the next sanctions package. During the negotiations, it was about the participation of Germany in the restoration of Ukraine. This is facilitated, in particular, by the joint patronage of municipal and regional partnerships of Ukraine and Germany established last year by the two presidents."
