ok guys, hear me out.

so crowley's car (goddamnit bentley) played queen, more specifically, somebody to love when he was leaving the bookstore.

back in the good old days when queen was only starting to get popular in the usa, crowley met freddie as he was drinking some wine and reading the shitty reviews they got (and the good ones). crowley says that he quite likes their music, and freddie replies he doesn't mind what the critics have to say and that music is his only true love.

after that, as we may quote from the movie bohemian rhapsody, they got "absolutely shitfaced" and complained about their love lives. freddie talked about the bisexuality and crowley poured his heart out about aziraphale. freddie then shows crowley the chords to "love of my life," which he made for mary, and its obvious crowley loves aziraphale just as much as freddie loved mary.

crowley learned the chords and lyrics and was a queen fan till the end, and as freddie was sick and soon would die, he made crowley promise to sing love of my life to aziraphale. crowley promises.

years later. 2019. freddie is dead. he's been dead. crowley hasn't forgotten his promise. he looks at the guitar he randomly stole, looks at the bookstore door, and slowly raises his hand and knocks.

edit: it seems I have forgotten to mention crowley's voice. good lord up above, crowley has a beautiful singing voice. he hasn't sung since he Fell, but it hasn't changed a bit about that lovely voice. the angelic harmony is still there.
