      Angela Ziegler, once a head surgeon in Switzerland, attracted the attention of Overwatch when her breakthrough in nanobiology hit the ears of the world. They adopted her and brought her into their family, something she had not had since the Ominc crisis. They granted her Head of Medical research and in beginning they allowed her to do what she pleased. After the disappearance of Ana Amari, A woman who was much like a mother to her, Angela began delving into completely eliminating death altogether. Her research got much darker, much more sinister.. 

To her, she was experimenting with bringing back the dead, but to others.. She had been killing her subjects in an attempt to bring them back to life with her nanobots. Years passed as she worked on this and in that time she had bonded with Ana Amari's daughter as she went in and out of deployment with the Egyptian army. Overwatch had also gained another scientist that caught her interest in that time; Moira O'deorain, A woman who drastically encouraged her actions. Angela took her experimentation slowly, slipping under the radar as quietly as she could. Overwatch put a stop to her research this once they caught wind, she received a formal demotion and put on leave. The research changed her, she would never know for better or for worse. Angela used that time to seek out others who could fund her research, that’s when Talon found her. They filled her ears with promise of success and teams of scientists at her disposal. For a price. Accepting the offer they placed on the table, she decided to wait out leaving Overwatch, for now. Angela returned and wrote a letter of apology to her coworkers and resumed her studies in silence. As time progressed, she was seen less and less and undercover at talon more and more. She underwent a surgery that fitted her eyes with an implant that could read the vibrations of a living creature. Able to tell it's BPM and Stress rate just by looking over them. This saved lots of time during surgeries and quick rescues. The only noticeable feature about them was the fact that they changed her eye colour from blue to purple. Angela left Overwatch a few months before the events that lead up to the death of Talon's Antonio Bartalotti. It is discussed that Angela leaked information of his whereabouts and schedule to Blackwatch through Moira O'Deorain. It is also rumoured that she did this to bump up the chain of command, hopeful to have a place on the inner circle sooner than later.

" This is the way of the vicious cycle; Nothing in certain, peace is more scarce then chaos and most people exist in fear because they know destruction is coming." Turning her hands over to look them over before glancing at Moira's. " That is why our hands mend, we are the slim chance that the people around us survive." 

              And the takes those hands into her own. " We are both carved from destruction. " 

                            "Yet, we can repair it."
