Could you do "you keep starin' at me instead of watching the movie, what's up?" With Mammon? I kind of imagine it maybe being after MC sees him on a magazine cover (or something like that) for the first time. Also, love your writing!
“You keep starin’ at me instead of watching the movie, what’s up?”
Mammon x Reader
Wow. You’d— you’d known about Mammon being a model, but—
Damn. You found yourself in your room, flipping through a magazine you’d bought on a whim on your way from RAD. You’d thought it’d just be something cool to have— something to look through every once in a while.
You didn’t think that actually seeing Mammon modeling would be this odd. And not really in a bad way, but in a way that made your mind constantly drift back to the image of him staring playfully at the camera, one of his eyes closed in a charming wink as he ruffled his hair.
As your mind processed having seen Mammon anything but the way he usually was around you and his brothers, a knock at your door had you scrambling up and shoving the magazine under some of your school books.
Speak of the devil. Literally. Mammon opened your door, his loud voice not nearly as obnoxious as you had remembered it being when he barged into your room to complain about you taking too long to get ready before school.
“Hey, did ya forget about movie night or somethin’?”
Uh, yeah. You did. Because you were too busy being shocked and flipping through pages of pictures of the very demon you were supposed to be having movie night with. Your eyes darted towards your desk full of books like you were hiding a dirty secret (it wasn’t like it was illegal to buy fashion magazines, right?), but you forced a little smile.
“Uhm, sorry about that, Mammon...” You forced your forced smile to grow larger. “I was busy doing, uhm, homework.”
As oblivious to certain things as ever, Mammon simply shrugged and pulled on your arm, “next time I’m gonna make you prep everything.”
While you would have retorted snarkily any other day, you were a bit too busy internally freaking out and trying to stifle a blush. Your eyes stayed trained on where Mammon’s hand grasped your arm, letting him lead you towards his room wordlessly.
This continued until Mammon finally flopped back onto his couch with you, the movie set to play and a bunch of popcorn and candy spread out in front of you two.
“... why are ya being so quiet?” You jolted up, finding Mammon’s blue gaze on you.
“Oh, uh, it’s nothing...”
Mammon raised a pale brow, but just turned away, a bit too excited for the movie to start. It was one that you two had been planning on watching together for a while— an action adventure with just a pinch of horror to keep things interesting (not that Mammon would really get scared of it, anyways).
You tried to occupy yourself with shoving popcorn into your mouth, not quite paying attention to the movie. Subconsciously, your gaze kept going to Mammon.
Ever since you’d seen in in that magazine you bought, you felt strange looking at him. Strange in the way that your stomach felt twisted and you brain felt just as scattered as your heart was beating.
Which was... silly. Right? Just seeing Mammon modeling wouldn’t be enough for you to just up and fall for him! It was probably the shock factor of it all, the shock factor of seeing Mammon modeling.
Not that he didn’t look good all the time—
Now that you thought about it... you’d always thought Mammon was attractive. And he managed to make you laugh right when you needed it. And he somehow knew when the right moments were to get serious, like that time when—
Uh oh.
Your eyes bugged out and you had to keep yourself from choking on your popcorn.
Your eyes stayed trained on Mammon. Could it be that even before the magazine, all this time, you had feelings—
Mammon turned to you, tilting his head. “Hey. You keep starin’ at me instead of watching the movie, what’s up?”
You hurriedly turned towards the movie again, munching on your popcorn like there was no tomorrow.
Damn magazine, making you come to terms with your feelings.
