A slender finger traced through the pictures. Eclair’s eyebrow slowly raised as she questioned herself why Hitori’s pictures were growing less cheerful. Something must’ve happened; that was all she could figure.
Hitori slowly rose from his cold slumber and stretched as he yawned. “Uwaaaaah…!” He lightly smacks his lips as he rubbed his eyes. “Morning Eclair…” The earth mage said as he scooted over, picking up Momon in one arm and keeping him warm. “What are you rea-” Hitori’s eyes widen over seeing the picture of him in his Rune Knight training armor with his precinct. He quickly snatched it away from her and slams it shut. “Why are you looking through my photos!?”
“I...I was just curious,” Eclair tried to reason. Still, she knew there wasn’t a real reason why she’d looked at Hitori’s pictures other than curiosity. And curiosity killed the cat. “I’m...” She looked to Momon, who was rubbing his eyes, then back to Hitori. “I’m sorry” she stated quickly, turning around and frowning to herself.
“Eclair said she was sorry!” Momon perked up happily, a smile on his face. “That doesn’t happen very often! Eclair, are you okay? Are you not feeling well?”
“Probably. I’m good at sewing and telling people’s fortunes though, so there’s always that I guess.”
(So after having a dream last night I decided to make a new muse. I won’t say who until I have the blog set up, but I do have a question: I keep resending the confirmation email (yes I’ve double checked and it’s the correct email address) but I’m not getting it. Any information on why this could be happening and/or how to fix it?)

Well Bowen didn’t seem dangerous. Then again, one could never be too cautious. So with a monotonous tone, Eclair decided to at least try and be civil. If only to please Momon. “We’re just as lost as you are to be quite honest” She set her sewing aside and stared at the stranger before her. “Whether you mean harm or not, there is nothing we can do to help you. Our map is all but useless since it’s in a language I don’t know” Okay, that last part was a lie. She could very well read it, and there was a chance that this stranger could read it too. It was a simple Fiorean map after all. Nothing special about it other than some notes she’d written in the margins.
Thankfully Momon didn’t speak up. Instead, his eyebrows furrowed together and he let out a sound that was a cross of disbelief and a keening sound. It was almost like the sound a child would make if he was scared and calling for his mother.
Eclair ignored Momon once more. “You may look at our map if you wish, but I’m afraid it may be of no help to you” Maybe if this person was truly lost they were from another continent and therefore couldn’t actually read it. The thought crossed her mind, though she could only hope the stranger would eventually give up and leave them alone.

“Okay!” Momon’s yellow tail wagged happily as he turned on his heel. He then proceeded to march off into the woods, pine needles and dead leaves crunching beneath his miniscule feet. “She’s this way!” He hopped up and down, eventually deciding to take to the air.
After a few minutes of switching between flying and walking, Momon finished leading the stranger to his friend. “I’m back!” The young woman looked up from her sewing, raising an eyebrow at the bird. She then turned her brown gaze to the stranger that had tagged along, her eyes narrowing at the thought of a threat.
“Welcome back” she stated curtly, deciding she would ignore this stranger.
Momon fluttered and landed beside his female friend, landing on the same log she sat on. He knew his work was cut out for him, but it was just in his nature to help people, stranger or not.“His name’s Bowen and he said he needs our help! He said he’s lost. Do you think you can help him?” the bird looked up at her with hope shining in his eyes. However, that light soon diminished with his friend’s frown. He knew what it meant.

I want to make this known; it’s OKAY to flirt with my muse, it’s okay to say flirty things to them, yes, they may not react to it, they may not respond to it positively, but know as a mun I’m 100% OKAY with it. Especially if my muse is clearly attractive appearance wise, go a head, flirt with them, if my muse is your muse’s type, it’s okay to flirt, we don’t have to be shipping, we don’t ever have to ship to have you flirt with my muse; I WONT think you’re pushing a ship on me either. But I just feel that some people are scared to have their muse be flirty to another because we a muns might take it the wrong way.
I’m not saying this goes for everyone, but I’m letting you know that it doesn’t make me uncomfortable and I’m fine with it.

A Stranger in the Snow
Eclair and Momon were hoping to see something here that they’d never seen before. It was a rare phenomenon called the “northern lights”. She’d only heard about it while passing through the merchants’ stalls earlier that month. Something about there being lights in the sky and strange things happening around the same time the lights showed up. Momon’s interest was piqued, and he’d begged her to go see them. It was on the way to their next destination, so why not?
Agreeing to stay for one night and one night only to see this mysterious lights, Eclair and Momon trudged through the snow to find their destination. “So what was the story about the guy who disappeared?” Momon asked his friend. She turned to him, a frown evident on her face as the wind whipped her hair into her eyes.
“The merchant said people disappear in the area, never to be seen again. Don’t give me that face, you know we’re going to be together forever Momon” She smiled softly at the bird and scooped him up into her arms, continuing to trudge through the snow against the swirling white winds. “Anyway, you’re not going to be separated from me. I may not know much about magic, but I know enough to recognize it when I hear it. You know my stance on magic anyways.”
Momon let out a sigh. Yes, of course he knew. She thought magic and strange phenomenon tied to it was dangerous. Really, she needed to be more relaxed about the situation.
“Hey, who’s that up there?” Momon pointed to a small figure coming towards them. Eclair froze in place, turning to run in the other direction if it was necessary, but the wind was picking up carrying snow and ice with it. “It looks like they might be lost. Don’t you think maybe we should tell them that it’s dangerous around here?” Momon shouted above the squall.
Eclair didn’t shake her head, she just turned and ran in the other direction, away from the stranger.

(So this week I have 2 of my finals and one test. Next week I’ll have the other two finals. I’ll have plenty of time to study as I’m pretty good at balancing my schedule, but please note that I will be a bit slower at replying than usual during this time. The large yellow bird crept out from behind the bushes, ready to rush his potential foe if necessary. To his surprise though, the stranger looked confused rather than scary. Relaxing almost instantly, a large smile spread over the bird’s beak. “It’s okay, you don’t have to be scared! I’m Momon,” the bird stated while extending a wing.
Turning his head to the side, Momon sized up his new acquaintance quickly. “If you’re lost, maybe I can help! Though we’re sort of lost ourselves,” he mumbled the last part. “Anyways, maybe she can help you! My friend’s pretty clever, so she might be able to help you if I can’t.”
