heya , folks!! my name is zim (he/they) , i’m 23 yrs old , && i have abt 7+ yrs of rp experience. this is a semi-selective, independent && literate leonardo hamato rp blog from the nickelodeon series, “rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles”.   here are some basic ground rules (&& pls feel free to ask abt anything else, explanations, etc.!);

no godmodding , bullying , harassment , etc.

i will only interact / rp with other rp blogs , hubs , etc. personals will be blocked.

im a college senior so that , along my own personal stressors and issues , will make me pretty slow to respond tbh. v sorry in advance.

length of replies / starters / etc. will vary depending on what the thread requires or what im feeling at the time. you have no requirement whatsoever to match my length (sometimes i get overly excited) or to shorten your response to mine. just do whatever feels right! however , if you provide me with insufficient information to make the rp feel fun && engaging , i have the right to drop threads.

no smut will be written on this blog.

i usually write in small font — if i need to change this to make it easier to see and read, just lmk && i will happily change it!

i am multiverse , crossover && oc friendly , provided you have sufficient information abt your oc so i can best understand how to interact w/ them.

uhm. mixed! but mostly i feel flattered! it was kind of a jumpscare when i found out that i was entered, but i think it’s really cool that someone thought this blog ( that hasn’t been touched in a fat minute ) was worthy of being entered!

good luck ofc to everyone involved and remember, your worth as a person / writer / fan / etc. does not depend on what other people think or who they vote for. ur all really cool and amazing and unique! and it’s also okay to let someone know if ur uncomfy with being entered! there’s nothing wrong with that, either!

leo lets out a laugh as his hand is swatted away grumpily ; as per usual, donnie’s bark is worse than his bite, & his even tone is without any real venom. his purple - clad twin is just so FUN to annoy — he makes it so easy. leo goes instead to poke at donnie’s cheek, smug grin still hanging firmly against his lips.

“uh-huh, uh-huh, yeah, riiiiight right right right right. you’re the brainy smart one & im the charismatic, good looking handsome one. now, i know what you might be thinking : ‘oh, but my darling brother leo, that must be such a BURDEN to bear, however in einstein’s, uh… law (?) do you manage??’ & to THAT, i say, somebody has to. jus’ part of being a hero.”

“cannonball!” & just like that, the teenage turtle is SLAMMING his body into the leaf pile ( which is not nearly as soft as it sounds ) , sending the scattered leaves billowing out & away from his body. a leo - sized hole remained, with leaves gathered around the area he had landed. a green head popped up, his grin wide.

“ohhhh ho ho, man, that was siiiiick. nailed it!” it takes him a moment to notice the other, a kid who — looked like some kind of BIRD? maybe a mutant? or a yokai? regardless, leo’s smile transforms into a grimace. “. . . oops? was this, eh.. yours?”

idk if this is a trope or whatever but i love it so much when fictional characters massively downplay the severity of their injuries but in more of a comedic way than a tragic one. like some guy gets impaled and they just glance down at the shard of metal sticking out of them and say some dumb bullshit like "oh man. that's gonna need some ice." and then pass out while all their friends yell at them for being an unfunny idiot with terrible priorities.

you share a brain cell with someone else and you never know when you get to have the brain cell. it's always a surprise and sometimes you have to fight over it
