Hemp ground into your sweaty palm as you adjusted the grip on your kunai, every breath burning in your lungs as you stared at the man across from you, not daring to even so much as blink. Watch the hips, someone had told you once. Solid advice probably…unless those hips were as distractible as the ones attached to your opponent.

“Get on your toes more,” Sasuke offered alongside a jaunty grin, that damned oversized shuriken spinning lazily at his side, looking as if he were out for a leisurely summer stroll. “Lower your center of gravity.”

Huffing out a breath that shifted your damp bangs you changed your stance, still watching warily for the moment he’d attack. The sun beat down, hot on your shoulders and the top of your head, the air hanging sullenly without a breeze for relief. Shade beckoned from the nearby veranda, promising a cool respite, but you shook off the urge to throw in the towel and call it a day. It wasn’t often you got time with Sasuke all to yourself, and even less often that you got to train with him.

Every time I watch season seven I stop at the episode where Hyde took Jackie to the car show and calls her his chick… then go back and watch a mash up of the season 5 & 6 episodes… they lived happily ever after, got married in the Formans back yard with Red walking her down the isle, Eric was best man, Donna was made of honour in an ugly pink dress, Kitty made their cake and fussed over her ‘baby’s’, Fez cried and Kelso had to leave half way into the ceremony, making a scene and everyone think he was objecting but Betsy’s dipper had just leaked all over him.

Their first dance was to Tiny Dancer.

Hyde pretended to hate it, Jackie pretended to let him hate it.

She fell asleep before the reception was over, head in his lap as all their friends sat with them having a drink, Hyde stroking her hair and laughing as Drunk Kitty forced Red onto the dance floor.

It was beautiful and perfect!!

That is what happens!! And no one can tell me otherwise if they want to keep their teeth!!!

Game: Samurai Love Ballad Party Rating: Fluff and perfectly safe nonsense Pairing: NO ONE IS SAFE Summary: I am not ashamed and I still have no regrets. Of course, it’s only been like an hour. Plenty of time for that to change. Continued from Part 1. I have no plan. No plan at all.

The good news, you suppose, is that you appear to be properly your own size once more, after eating the sweet potato you prepared for the caterpillar. You take careful inventory, stroking your hands somewhat nervously down the fabric of your kimono, and taking a tentative step forward. Yes. This is definitely your proper height, so you suppose that with that taken care of, you can get back to…wherever it was you were going.

Where was that again?

Dismayed, you look around, hoping for something that will spark your memory, but find yourself wandering quietly through the woods with little idea as to what waits. There was something, you think, about a crow…

Glancing up, high into the branches of a blooming tree, you see a cat.

You wait for a moment.

The silver-haired cat (as cats are wont to do)…ignores you.

Completely.

“Excuse me,” You start. This gets you a disinterested glance, “Excuse me,” You continue, “But aren’t you supposed to give me directions?” Silence. “Or…or some advice, on the people in this place in general, and their general state of sanity or otherwise?” More silence. “I also think, all things considered, you are supposed to be grinning.” Nevermind that’s not a thing most cats do, you’re quite certain that’s rather the point.

The cat sighs, and rolls so that he is sitting up, expression completely indifferent, “Look,” He drawls, soft, and you have to strain to hear, “I’m just here to keep an eye on him,” He gestures vaguely over your shoulder, “You are welcome to do as you please.” You turn your head to see just where—or to whom—he’s point to, and see a white knight (wearing red) charging up the hill and after what appears to be a butterfly. Behind you, you hear the cat sigh, “Oh, but don’t worry, dear, I’m sure he’ll drag me back into some other role.” You turn back, wondering what he means, but all that’s where the car was a fading, silver-glinted smirk.

“Ah-ha,” You proclaim in triumph, wiggling your fingers at the fading smirk the cat’s left behind. “See, I knew it.”

“Knew what?”

You shriek at the unexpected sound of a new voice, jumping in the air, and find yourself caught in the arms of the speaker, who is, undoubtedly, a Big Bad Wolf.

(Or puppy, perhaps).

He frowns at you. “Aaah, sheesh. What’s all the yellin for? It’s just me.”

You frown right back, and squirm in his grip, but he has very large hands and does not put you down. ‘Just me’ he says. With his messy purple hair, big ears, and big…teeth… “I’m…I’m quite certain there are no big bad wolves in this story,”

The frown turns into a full-blown scowl, and his violet gaze sharpens, “Who’re you callin’ bad?”

“Well,” You offer reasonably, shifting the red cloak that seems to have appeared over your kimono out of the way so you can see him better, “You’re certainly always talking about how big and bad you want to—”

“Enough,” The wolf growls, clearly embarrassed, and he shifts, tossing you over his shoulder, despite your protests, “Look, you’re supposed to be making treats for Grandma and you’re late. Just…come on and be quiet.”

“Oh,” Now that he says that, it does seem sort of familiar, and deciding whether Grandma will prefer savory or sweet, you start composing a menu in your head. You’ll need rice flour, certainly, and…it occurs to you the woods look a little different from this angle. “Wolf,” You ask casually, “Could you put me down?”

“No.”

He doesn’t even hesitate, and since you’re thinking about food anyway you realize with gasp, “Oh…oh no! Are you going to eat me up?” You begin squirming in earnest, reaching up to tickle his neck so he will release you.

The wolf splutters incoherently, turning scarlet, “What?! What—no—no, look, you can’t, you can’t just ask that, why would I—you’re like a sis—” You manage to get free, and though he grabs for you, you scoop up your basket and begin sprinting back in the direction of the disappearing cat. You hear a howl behind you, glancing back, and when you look ahead again, there’s a grinning white rabbit, no more than ten years old. For some reason, he has an owl on his shoulder, even though you’re fairly certain rabbits and owls do not, typically, get along.

“C’mon!” He cries cheerfully, tugging you towards a door in one of the trees and shoving you through, “It’s okay, Sensei says you’re always late, it’s to be expected. Don’t worry, we have all the ingredients you need.” You stumble, but go through, and then wonder…

“Wait, what am I late for?”

Someone asked me why I’m making a special post for flaws, instead of strengths/abilities/powers/skills or just how awesome the SLBP characters are in general. Why? Because flaws do exist. oh honey :( i can’t write that because it’s no way to feel when in a relationship. you should never EVER feel worthless in a relationship. being insecure is one thing and i think everyone feels as though they aren’t “enough” for their partner, despite the fact that they are, but it’s another entirely to feel worthless, and it’s simply not true. you are you and that is more than enough.

Blinded, I stayed in this kind of relationship for 2 years. Heck, looking back at it now , I see a stupid me holding on to her ideals. Until one day Reality had to slap me hard on the face. I got cheated on, lied on to. I swear I'm not an ugly fook inside and out But how did i ever come to this? There's only one person to blame and that's me.

I got out of the relationship. However I kept blaming myself. If i was so smart, I should have seen the red flags, right? It's hard to forgive yourself after that.

Fastforward to 5 months and it's still the experience I still regret but thankful as well. The healing is continuing. Even my friends saw the change in me - I became more ruthless calling out on bullshit.

If only I could write well..... for now, I can only say "Damn... how can I be so stupid"

I give to you the only thing I have managed to write in its entirety for the past nearly two months. It’s self indulgent reincarnation garbage because those always make me go but what about the kids. It’s short. I’m not terribly happy with it. But I’m throwing it on out there to the world. (On US Thanksgiving so no one will read it?)

His entire life, Kanetsugu had felt as if something was missing. While his tendency to choose dolls over action figures initially confused his parents, they saw no harm in allowing him to play at being a father. Encouraging his nurturing instincts would only serve him well in the event he provided them with a grandchild, after all.

It wasn’t until he met Kagetora in his first year of university that the dreams began. They always featured a little girl, her hair done up in ribbons and wearing, oddly, an old-fashioned kimono. Sometimes she would be holding out a flower, and saying, “I found this for you, papa.” Other times he would see her in a traditional kitchen, beside a young woman with a familiar face who was dressed as a boy, the little girl’s featured scrunched up in concentration as she shaped rice into a ball with her tiny hands. And sometimes (and these were the ones he liked the least) she would be holding the hand of a man who looked like an older version of his university friend, dragging the man behind her and away from a desk piled with papers, beaming smiles on the faces of both of them.

Throughout their university years, the memories returned in fits and flashes, never quite forming a full picture. He and Kagetora had both been searching for someone for what felt like lifetimes, the two men connected by an invisible thread, but their missing pieces did not seem to be each other, as the emptiness remained even after finding each other. However, the routine of Kagetora avoiding work and Kanetsugu scolding him was familiar and comforting, a salve to the ache of a loss he couldn’t explain or even describe.

It was their last year of university when Kanetsugu began volunteering at the local orphanage. He found a talent for working with children, his experience wrangling Kagetora translating quite well into providing a strong presence for dealing with the occasional unruly child. And while the work helped fill the inexplicable void in his heart, that missing piece was still yearned for.

The day he moved into his new place was when he saw her again – not the girl from his dreams, but the woman. Her face so familiar, the shock of it caused him to drop his box of kitchen utensils. And when she and Kagetora reunited, he had hoped that this would finally fill the void.

But it didn’t. He stilled missed his Ai.

But life continued on, the routine of scolding Kagetora slightly changed to add in scolding the woman for indulging Kagetora. He threw himself into his volunteer work at the orphanage, pulling the woman into it with him. Organizing day trips, ensuring the new children were comfortable and welcome, and one day… one day he saw her.

Her hair was in a simple braid, not pigtails, and her dress was modern, not a kimono, but it was her. It was his Ai.

He had finally found his heart again.
