Corten A Plates is an alloy (i.e. the combination of two or more elements of which at least one is a metal, and where the resultant material has metallic properties). Corten B Plates is based on nickel (65 % - 70 %) and copper (20 % - 29 %) and also contains iron and manganese (5 %) and other compounds. Corten Steel A Plates is a very expensive alloy, with a cost ranging from 5 to 10 times the cost of copper and nickel. Hence the use of Corten Steel B Plates is limited to those applications where it cannot be replaced with cheaper alternatives. Compared to carbon steel, piping in Corten A Weathering Steel Plates is more than 3 times as expensive. ASTM A242 Corten A Steel Plates is weather resistant steel created by alloying copper, chromium, and nickel. ASME SA 242 Corten B Steel Plates needs to be turned and worked at slow speeds and low feed rates.

Monel UNS N04400 Rods is characterized by good weldability, moderate strength, good general corrosion resistance, and toughness. As it is well known for its high strength and corrosion resistant properties, Monel Din 2.4360 Wires is, therefore, works in a wide range of temperatures and is available in multiple forms for a variety of products. Monel 400 Wires also shows high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a range of acidic and alkaline environments and it’s especially suitable for reducing conditions.

The room temperature hardness of ASTM A53 Carbon Steel Grade B Seamless Pipes is approximately 93 HRB and 95 HRB, respectively, where seawater is probably the most common aqueous salt solution. ASTM A53 Carbon Steel GRADE B Welded Pipes was selected for this application after extensive testing in the actual bleach washer environment. When comparing the two alloys, there is little difference in corrosion resistant performance with one exception; ASTM A53 Carbon Steel GRADE B Seamless Tubes shows an improvement over other alloys when used in certain saturated wet chlorine environments. Cooling at an accelerated rate in ASTM A53 Carbon Steel GRADE B Welded Tubes avoids the formation of detrimental phases which form between the ranges of 1400 Degree F - 1800 Degree F.

As a super duplex stainless steel, these ASME SA 335 Alloy P9 Seamless Pipes combines the desirable aspects of both austenitic and ferritic grades. The higher chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen contents result in a Pitting Resistance Equivalent number, providing pitting and crevice corrosion resistance superior to austenitic and our ASTM A335 Alloy Steel Grade P9 Seamless Pipes in almost all corrosive media, and a Critical Pitting Temperature exceeding 50 Degree C. Supplied in the annealed condition, these ASME SA 335 Alloy Steel Grade P9 Seamless Pipes achieves yield strengths, greater than most austenitic and duplex stainless steel grades.

These ASTM A106 Carbon Steel Grade B Seamless Pipes has shown an outstanding resistance to a wide range of chemicals, including chlorides, organic and inorganic solutions. Our ASTM A106 Carbon Steel GRADE B Welded Pipes also resists sulfuric, phosphoric, formic, acetic acids and other non - oxidizing media. These ASTM A106 Carbon Steel GRADE B Seamless Tubes has excellent resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and knife line and weld heat - affected zone attack. In addition to having exceptional corrosion resistance, our ASTM A106 Carbon Steel GRADE B Welded Tubes can as well be readily fabricated. These ASME SA 106 CS GR B Pipes exhibits superior welding conditions, providing excellent as - welded conditions for process applications in chemical-based industries such as food, beverage, personal care, and pharmaceutical.
