Okay so my experiment with FernClan was overwhelming, so I'm going to do the same thing, but every generation (aka every ~150 moons) I will manually randomize a deadly event to keep the numbers low. I'm also trying playing on Classic mode to see if it makes a difference.

A loner dropped her kits off with the Clan, and Weedshade decided to take on caring for them. Their names are Sagekit and Voidkit.

An injured kittypet was found by the thunderpath. Though Lightningstar is still wary of cats from outside the Clan, Bugdapple convinced him to let her take care of the cat. Her name is currently Bonbon, and if Lightningstar ultimately decides to allow her to join the Clan fully, she will get a warrior name after she heals up.

Hornetstorm gave birth to her kits with Firefur. Their names are Houndkit and Emberkit. She is heartbroken looking at Emberkit, as she feels that he looks so much like Firefur, and that is what he was named in reference to.

Bonbon is healed, but Lightningstar's anxieties about outsiders is resulting in him being sent away now that he is well enough.
Additionally, we've hit the end of the fourth year of LightningClan, which means it's time for me to go through and check whether any new pairings have come up!

Snowshadow still has whitecough because of her bad lungs, but all the others with whitecough got better, except for Pebblefade. Flutterwhisker has caught it this moon, though.

Okay so first of all, Pebblefade and Snowshadow's whitecough cases have cleared up.
SECOND OF ALL.
So, a random rogue attack DECIMATED the Clan. They killed Dustkit (SERIOUSLY THEY STARTED WITH A KIT), Splashfern, Podpelt, Willowtwist, Glintspots, Daisypelt, Bubblesplash, Wisteriadawn, Featherpaw, Birdclaw, Oakdawn, Speckleshine, Smokeheart, Bluffbreeze, and Shinecloud.
Nobody knew how the rogues got in UNTIL they spotted Rainface sharing prey with one of the rogues and it was realized that she had orchestrated this. The rogue was chased off, but Rainface was taken back to camp to be questioned. There, it came to light that she had always been part of the rogue group, and had been acting as a spy for them, in the hopes that they might take over LightningClan's territory. Lightningstar, enraged by what Rainface had done, after he had welcomed her in and been so welcoming to all cats who wished to join the Clan, called for her death, and Puddlestrike, who was Dustkit's elder half sibling, carried out the sentence.
I suspect this will lead to a more isolationist LightningClan in the future.
Rainface is officially the first Dark Forest cat from LightningClan.
In the wake of this tragic battle, Lilacpaw and Snailpaw became Lilacshock and Snailstripe. Their sister, Featherpaw, should have been with them, had she not been killed in the battle.
Seriously we lost 2/3 medicine cats and both mediators. I believe the cats will be looking to fill those roles. Bugdapple believes Aspenkit would be a good medicine cat apprentice. Additionally, Firefur, who lost his mate Splashfern in the battle and who has a strong connection to StarClan has decided to become a medicine cat, as he feels it is the best way he can help his Clan, and feels certain he will never want another mate. Meanwhile, Greenshade and Sandblossom have taken on the role of mediators.
However, the Clan does welcome a former kittypet, Heather, who had fallen in with the rogue group, who came to them with information on how to strike back and, hopefully, drive the rogues away, under the condition that LightningClan shelter her. Her name is now Heatherwish.

Jumpdrift has decided to move on from Heatherheart. We'll see how this goes, because Lightningstar made that resolution MOONS ago about Bloombrook, and he has utterly failed so far, but we'll see.
Snowpaw has been made a full warrior with the name Snowshadow. I believe that despite her earlier doubts, she has decided to remain a warrior, with the understanding that due to her permanent condition, she will need to be more careful about her activity than some other warriors need to be.
Additionally, Lilackit is now Lilacpaw apprenticed to Bubblesplash, Featherkit is now Featherpaw apprenticed to Lizardleap (which may suggest that she is not interested in spending much time in the nursery, though she did bring kits to the Clan), and Snailkit is now Snailpaw apprenticed to Snowshadow.

Smokeheart's joint pain was so bad this moon that he struggled to get out of his nest and complete his warrior duties. Acknowledging that he wants to continue serving his Clan and does not yet wish to retire, but that doing so as a warrior is no longer something he can do comfortably, he has elected to become a mediator.
We took in ANOTHER loner. This one is named Mora, though they have taken on the warrior name Gorsedapple

Meanwhile, Cliffcrash's littermate, Puddlepaw, is finally healed, but she is entirely blind as a result of the hare injuring her eyes. It looks like she's working very hard on her warrior training, though, so I think her goal is to still be a warrior (and contrary to what canon says, blind cats can totally perform all the activities that a warrior needs to be able to do), so here's wishing her luck!

Lightningstar chooses to allow her to remain with LightningClan, but she is forced to resign as a medicine cat. Instead, she becomes LightningClan's first mediator, which I think suits her as a lore keeper anyway.
On a patrol, Splashfern finds a former kittypet with a broken bone. Her name was Blaze, and she is now Blazetail.

A patrol that included Asterscratch, Heatherheart, and Splashfern ended up running into Nakeena, a kittypet, who they brought back to camp. She is sick, but as was the case with Mosaicspots, if she survives, she will be offered a full warrior name.

A patrol including Asterscratch, Splashfern, and Cypresstuft met a kittypet named Radar, who badly injured Splashfern's leg.

Glintspots and Podpelt went out to look for herbs, and ended up finding a wounded queen with newborn kits, who they brought back to the Clan. The Queen's name is Fogstripe, and her his kits are Cliffkit and Puddlekit! [Edit: I’m a dummy who didn’t notice Fogstripe was a trans guy, so his pronouns may be incorrect but they get fixed as soon as I notice next post. I’d fix it here but tbqh I am, myself, an exhausted trans guy and I simply do not have the patience or energy to comb through and see if I misgendered a randomly generated pixel cat on accident. At least not tonight.]

And THEN Heatherheart was on a patrol with Lightningstar, Bubblepaw, Piperpaw, and Asterscratch, and they ran into some rogues, and Heatherheart singlehandedly made the rogues flee. True Heatherheart protagonist moment.

BrightClan took some of our territory! Presumably because we antagonized them but still that's very rude.
Hawkflare is all healed up, though I'm choosing to imagine that her jaw remains misaligned because it was broken before.
Flutterkit is apprenticed by Hawkflare and made Flutterpaw, Jackdawkit is now Jackdawpaw and apprenticed to Willowtwist, and Jaggedkit becomes Jaggedpaw and is apprenticed to Asterscratch.
Oh no, I just realized Jaggedpaw appears to have a significant scar on his paw/leg. I don't think that's what he was named for, as he's a tabby so I think the name probably refers to his pelt, but I do think he may have limited movement in that paw with the old injury.
Cypresstuft attempted to steal prey from BrightClan, but Heatherheart, being an EXCELLENT Deputy (seriously I love her so much) stepped in to stop her.
Splashfern was bitten in a scrap with BearClan along that border.

Podpelt, one of the medicine cats, slipped and dislocated a shoulder. Though Toadclaw did something similar, so maybe there was some bad frost one morning.
Cliffkit became Cliffpaw, mentored by Cypresstuft (not... the cat I would have ever picked to be a mentor, Lightningstar, but okay sure), and Puddlekit became Puddlepaw, mentored by Fogstripe, her own mother.
When she became an apprentice, Puddlepaw was excited by the prospect of hunting down a rabbit, or possibly a fox. Then, in that excitement on her first day out, she mistook a hare for a rabbit and had her eyes scratched as a result. She is in the medicine den now.

A patrol found Daisy, a cat from outside the Clans, near the Thunderpath with head trauma. She has taken the name Daisypelt, but is being cared for in the medicine den.
Oh no our first green relationship bar and it's Weedshade for Heatherheart. And he seems to have developed a crush on her, too. Meanwhile, she barely even likes him at all.
Weedshade got stuck in a twoleg trap while hunting and was taken away.

Cypresstuft is healed but scarred from her snake bite.
Mosaic is also fully healed, and now goes by the warrior name: Mosaicspots.
On a hunting patrol, Dawnsky is killed by a wolverine.

All on her own, Speckleshine drove a dog off the territory.

Mosaicspots is pregnant! No idea who the other parent is, but I imagine someone outside of the Clan because she was a former loner/kittypet, and has no romance bar with anyone in the Clan.

OH OH INTERESTING. Mosaicspots gave birth to one kit, Piperkit. The other parent is Speckleshine. They do not know each other at all. Like. No bars for either of them. Fascinating. Maybe Mosaicspots just wanted to feel included in the Clan?

A border patrol including Heatherheart, Splashpaw, Lightningstar, Asterscratch, and Speckleshine ran into a loner who has skills as a healer, so Podpelt has joined the Clan. I imagine she was disgraced from BearClan... though I'm not sure why yet.

BLOOMBROOK DIED. There was a snowstorm while he was out hunting, desperate to fill the fresh kill pile. He hid in a cave, but seemingly froze to death out there. Lightningstar will be heartbroken.

I lost BrookClan to the update (by which I mean I didn't really update as download a new file? idk computers aren't my strong suit so..... time for a lower effort game with less drawing. Maybe I'll go back to that version of the game at some point but not this exact moment).

According to the rangen we are LightningClan. AND it randomized in with a cat with the "Lightning" prefix, so I think we're off to a great start. He HAS to be the leader, I think.

Of course nobody randomized in with mates, but I do like the idea that there could be mates in the group, so I'm going to randomize that on my own.

Dawnsky and Fleetfreckle were mates in life (though of course I can't represent this in-game until Dawnsky dies). But... hell yeah gay rights the only starting mates are queer! Love when RNG does that.
Events:
Cypresstuft, Asterscratch, Speckleshine, Heatherpaw, and Dawnsky went on a border patrol. They encountered a small dog, which they drove off, but Cypresstuft was bitten.
Moon 1:
Heatherpaw is now Heatherheart, honoured for her responsibility. I imagine that she was promoted as a result of her part in driving off the dog. Maybe she managed to rescue Cypresstuft!
Speckleshine is in the medicine den with a stomach ache, but wants to go on patrol with his former apprentice, Heatherheart. Which is cute!
Meanwhile, Cypresstuft is engaging himself while he heals in the medicine den by telling Weedpaw and Splashkit stories. Which makes sense, as he's a good speaker.
Heatherheart has ambitions to become deputy one day.
Splashkit, the only kit in the Clan, for two moons in a row now, wants to stop being babied. KID YOU ARE A BABY.
Asterscratch, Heatherheart, Lightningstar, and Weedpaw all went on a border patrol. They found the body of a dead kittypet whose twolegs dropped them off in the wild and then drove off.
Dawnsky and Speckleshine also went on a border patrol. They encountered a dog but, possibly because there are only two of them, decided to report it rather than attacking.
Moon 2:
Lightningstar, Weedpaw, Dawnsky, and Heatherheart went on a border patrol. They met a loner named Mosaic, and invited her to join the Clan. She is a former kittypet who is suffering from a bite-wound. If she heals up/lives, Lightningstar has decided she will be given a warrior name!
Asterscratch and Speckleshine met a BearClan patrol and decided to antagonize them. They were intimidated. It made inter-Clan relations worse.

Heatherheart was stolen by twolegs but managed to escape. She now wears a rainbow bow collar (and is cute as a button)
Splashkit was made an apprentice. His name is now Splashpaw, and his mentor is Heatherheart (one step closer to that deputyship).
CYPRESSTUFT. This cat. Healed from the dog bite. Then got bitten by a venomous snake and "miraculously survived". Lord.
Weedpaw was made a warrior with the name Weedshade, and was honoured for his stealth.
Cypresstuft also has a little bit of a crush on Heatherheart, and Heatherheart has the SMALLEST POSSIBLE bit of romantic affection back for her. It's another gay relationship. RNG is saying "no straight cats in LightningClan" and I am not complaining.
Also, hilariously, Weedshade absolutely adores (platonic) Heatherheart, and she doesn't care about him in any way.

Lightningstar, Weedshade, Speckleshine, and Asterscratch go on border patrol and meet some rogues, but manage to drive them off with Speckleshine leading the charge.
In my opinion, when designing warrior cats, whatever image came to your head when you were 10 years old and reading them with no concept of genetics, that’s the best design.

Notes from before I started under the cut.
- The game said Kinkfur was “strange” and somehow I apparently interpreted that as “uncanny”.
- Even though all the founders randomize in with no families, I like to imagine that Turtlejaw is Ashenwing’s older sister. Something about the sweet StarClan guide being the older sister of the Clan’s most bloodthirsty warrior is hilarious to me.
- Sunnyflame’s colours make me so happy to look at in her sprite in-game.
- Snappaw being ambitious and Brookstar’s apprentice… I like to imagine she wore Brookstar down the whole time they were first setting the Clan up.
- Fun fact: I seriously considered making Jaythorn the Medicine Cat before ultimately settling on Kinkfur. And then Jaythorn randomized in with the “strong connection to StarClan” trait.
- I don’t know what it is about Moonpaw, but I’m rooting for him.
