This is a side blog for Ask-Prince-Manaphy! This will be for non-story related things like OOC content, casual RP interactions, along with memes and other random posts for fun. Posts will be tagged accordingly.
May your spirit be transformed to live on within each of us, in the memories we hold close to our hearts, and in the many ways you touched our lives. Beloved by many, known to even more, with a legacy of joy for our entire community.
As we celebrate the launch of a new Pokemon game, I'd like to take a moment before we all dive in to honour the fallen. Because yes, some of us here have indeed gone to the world beyond this one, in the time I've been in the community.
Today, I learnt that one of us, @blueespeon, has passed away.
I thank @inja-eevee for letting us all know.
While I did not know the mod well, I knew them to be a wonderful writer, and someone who participated in the community with great enthusiasm. They were always kind and generous, and a wonderful person.
I sincerely hope that their friends and family are doing okay in this time, and I hope that they know that Bader was greatly appreciated in this small corner of the internet.
Rest in Peace, Bader. May you be welcomed with loving arms to the world beyond.
Simon @ Silvan: Regardless you find-- or don't find-- that what you're looking for, do you plan to go to elsewhere afterwards?
“I mean, I’m already going somewhere from here,” Silvan sounded dismissive towards Simon for a moment, as they were too busy packing to pay any attention to what they were.
“I’ll just keep going ‘till–” Silvan stopped talking when they realised it was a Manaphy that was addressing them.
“Ah–um…” They were caught completely off guard. What was a water Pokemon doing all the way out here?! Quickly they pulled out a water bottle and promptly dumped it on Simon’s head.
“Y-y-y-you shouldn’t be here! There’s no water around here!”
When Simon noticed Silvan pulled out what he realized was a water bottle, he tried to object; but the Eevee was faster, as they already had the cap off; dumping the contents over him before a word could leave his lips.
“...”
This wasn't the first time someone poured water on Simon without asking first, and this Eevee doing it to him wouldn't be the last time it would happen either; far from it.
All he could do was sigh internally. Who was he to scold them-- or anyone else for that matter-- for something well intended?
“How could anyone know?” he thought.
“I understand why you did that, OK? It's...” he started to say, shaking his head side to side. With what Silvan didn't know about him, they had just unwittingly wasted water.
“My skin and immune system is unusually strong. I can go a long while outside water before I'd be in trouble.”
“If anything, you needed that water way more than me. Hold on, I need to correct this.”
Using his antennas to take the empty bottle from Silvan: he inhaled before spraying out a low pressure Water Gun into it, filling it up fully.
“Here.” he simply stated, giving the bottle back to them.
“Fresh, purified water straight from the source. You-- or anyone else that needs it-- might feel slightly cooler after drinking it, but nothing to worry about, I promise.”
So, two and a half years ago; I happen to pull this from a booster box.
In all the years I've collected cards, I never pulled something this blatantly damaged on sheer accident. Crazy, really.
Of course, I opened a support ticket with the Pokemon Company International and, after getting everything with packing and shipping costs done; I sent it off.
A few days later, however, I get an E-Mail from them saying they'd be putting this order on hold. Now, that wasn't surprising, given the circumstances at the time. Soon afterwards, I had completely forgot about it.
Fast forward to the middle of March this year, I get a surprise reply to an old E-Mail. From the Pokémon Company International, saying the item was ready to be processed in the mail.
Now that was surprising. I just looked at it, dumbfounded. Once I checked everything about it to make sure I wasn't being pranked, I gave the shipping details, and; nearly a week later...
...Yeah, these photos speak for themselves. Felt surreal, opening the envelope and pulling these from it. Talk about unexpected closure.
Thank you to everyone who loaned me your wonderful characters. ;v;~ I can't tag everyone because of Tumblr's limits, sadly, but I hope all those who contributed see it!
They say there is a God of Spirits, but whether that is true is not known in the realms of the Pokémon World, for many seem to be mistaken for the mantle.
Some say it's Giratina. They would be wrong. Giratina serves as the keeper of the Upside Down, The Distortion World, the Other Side of the world next to us. They keep the balance, and rule over anti-matter. While spirits contain a small amount of anti-matter, very rarely do spirits fall completely to its pull, and cross over to Giratina's Realm. It is only when they choose Destruction that this takes place.
Some say it's Yveltal. They would be wrong. Yveltal does aid the world by adding destruction and death, the opposite of life, to the world, for everything that lives must also die. And while Yveltal can be seen as a harbringer of Death unto itself, it is not the keeper of souls.
Some say it's Lugia. They would be wrong. Lugia can see souls, and guide them to the afterlife, but they are also merely another guide. Any Lugia God that exists stays within the waking realm, within the world of the living. It is rare to see one on the other side.
There exists another Legend. A Legend very few know. A Legend of Arceus creating another child, a 7th child, from their own powers, poised to become a God in tim, but not yet. This being's name is usually hidden from the world, and kept secret.
You are not supposed to know the Leader of the Spirit World.
You are not supposed to see them.
And if you remember your encounter with them after death, and she does not remember you?
Run.
For she will not hesitate to take your life a second time.
In addition to being a creator: Mew has an interest in the various inventions made by humans-- with reactions ranging from fascinated to disgusted, depending on what the invention is meant to be used for.
Because of this; the Mew in this blog's Universe has mixed feelings towards humans.
...Not that those feelings stop the Mew from "helping themselves" to various items made by humans. It isn't unheard of to hear of stories of items like plush dolls, game controllers, dinnerware, iron-on patches and so on disappearing without a trace, much to the confusion of the victims and those who read the stories.
Common theories by those who-- correctly-- suspect Mew to be the culprit often wonder where the Mew even keeps the items, let alone if the Mew keeps a hoard at all. Little do mortals know is that the Mew has an ever expanding pocket dimension they keep their hoard organized in. Only Mew has access to this pocket dimension.

Based on a part of how a battle in Pokemon GO went a few weeks ago. That’s my Cinccino, btw.
The very sight and idea of two legendries being brought down by a Pokemon just shy of being two feet tall who is just a regular mortal compared to them is probability the most epic thing I ever witnessed in that game so far that is both amazing and hilarious.
