Please be sure to follow my new account and feel free to send me an inquiry to start a new thread with me! I look forward to continue writing with all of you!

“Ugh, In your wildest dreams !” Sigyn scoffed as she slammed her locker before taking her bag from him. “You know, are the most infuriating person I’ve ever met!” She snapped after him, a look of pure irritation on her face.
Sigyn and Loki had knew each other since childhood due to their mothers being friends and living on the same street for god knows how long, and not once had she remembered Loki ever just being a normal person. It was constant teasing and bickering between the two. It was truly unfortunate, because she knew Loki had good in him, and she’d probably like him if he wasn’t such an asshole. If only his brother had rubbed off on him just a smidge.
Despite her annoyance, Sigyn did the smart thing and walked away, heading towards the last class of the day and hopping that the rest of the day would run smoothly.
He shook his head and rolled his eyes again. “If you are seriously wanting to try giving us a chance, you are going to have to give up so much anxiety, otherwise I may as well just rent a room from here.” He turned toward the window to face away from Sigyn, feigning he was angry though he never could be. Loki knew she was in the right. Ideally medical attention is sought the first time ribs are broken, but better the 9th time than never. He could make out Gaea’s figure in the distance. “great...”
Loki chuckled , almost in shock that she agreed and in relief that she did. “I love you!” He blurted mere moments before pressing a passionate kiss to her lips.
He held her face in his hands, squeezing slightly from his joy. A joyous chuckle interrupted his kiss before he planted another in its place. Loki ripped his somewhat damp jacket off, the rain hadn’t stopped since Sig first fell asleep, and began unbuttoning his shirt. “I love you” another sloppy kiss, “I won’t let anyone keep us parted from this day forward.” Loki paused for a moment, realizing he was undressing. The excitement of having the love of his life back from the dead, her taking him into her heart again, and knowing they would be married yet again was overwhelming. The man had realized that what he was subconsciously trying to do, hadn’t happened between them since before ragnarok. Not even when she was Veronica. Granted their recent courtship had been a slow moving few months. “Sigyn..”
Sigyn let out her first laugh in weeks before her lips met his, hands gently resting on his shoulders. “And I love you,” she says fondly, smile widening to show her teeth.
The goddess was quick to catch on to what Loki was doing, and she was nervous. It had been a long time since they had done anything, and this body was still new. She had never been touched when she was Veronica, much like when they first met. Even so, Sigyn couldn’t deny that she earned for him.
“Let’s go slow, yeah? … Take our time?” She asks, knowing that the roughness they had once been so used to would have to wait.

Loki sighed, with a hint of laughter, and he rested his forehead against hers. “Forgive me, I was overcome.” He kissed her forehead and leaned away slightly. Loki’s fingers locked with hers as he looked into her eyes. How was he so stupid before? He could see it plain as day now. Her eyes were the same shape, color, and softness as always. Had he been able to look past the new infatuation of Veronica, he would have clearly seen Sigyn all along. The memories of their former lives together flooded back to him. He remembered how long it took for them to grow comfortable with each other. “We - I can wait if you aren’t ready for anything” Loki said softly.
Loki smiled softly at her but avoided eye contact. Not because he was afraid to meet her gaze but because his mind was elsewhere. He barely heard a thing she said but assumed it was some kind of apology about the situation. “Likewise.” He said quickly. He knew he should make an effort with her but he was exhausted mentally from everything in his life. His mind wondered to Andraboda and what it was like when they first met. They were happy for a time. The thought of his life was interrupted by the sound of Thor’s booming laugh echoing down the hall. Loki snapped back to the present and looked down at his arm which was linked with Sigyn’s. His fist balled so tightly his knuckles were a bluish white. The god released sig’s arm and took a few steps away from her. “Forgive me, I appear to be elsewhere.” His eyes darted around and he caught sight of their mothers rounding the corner towards them. Surely they were coming to see how their rekindling was going. The god sighed and while looking toward the goddess, their eyes locked. He felt calm. His anxiety, fears, and doubts vanished. He felt safe. Without noticing, Loki had closed the space between them slowly. The memories of their childhood has flooded into his memory with great detail. He caught himself softly smiling. A smirk or a good for nothing grin were frequently seen in years past, but this smile? It had a tenderness and hint of love behind it. A look that only two people had ever seen from him until this moment. Loki opened if mouth to say something but was interrupted by his mother grasping his arm and asking about his tour so far. “Admittedly, mother, we have barely made it 30 paces from the hall”.
Sigyn followed Loki’s silence as they walked, she knew this situation could not be easy for him. Being forced to marry another when you have already been wed once? Of course, she had heard the rumors that surrounded him and his other bride– but she was not one to listen to gossip. She could only hope that Loki would let her in, in his own time. That, and that she could make him happy as well one day.
The goddess jolted slightly at the boom of her soon-to-be brother-in-law’s laughter. He always was terribly loud. Yet, her thoughts were shaken as she noticed the blue hue under Loki’s skin, yet she kept her silence as he pulled away from her. Another question for another time, perhaps.
Her hands folded behind her back as she watched him from afar, a gentle smile remaining on her lips even despite his state. “It’s okay, you are free to take your time here,” she says softly. She wants him to seek comfort in her, so she doesn’t push. This is new for her too, and patience had always been one of her virtues. Her head tilts to the side as he closes the gap, but her smile remains the same as a gentle hum slides past her lips.
“I apologize, we were busy reminiscing– so walking was not at the forefront of our minds,” She says to their mothers, covering for them both as she knows it’s the answer they both want to hear. “Speaking of, would you like to see the hall of portraits?” She asks, turning her attention back to her future husband.

“I would be honored”. Loki offered his arm again to the goddess. He gave a cheeky smile, a lie to keep up appearances for his mother and next mother in law. Thor’s laughter was still echoing through the hall. “Oaf” he muttered softly. He glanced over his shoulder and locked eyes with his mother who was giving him a look yet again. A gentle ‘talk to her’ was mouthed to him as Frigga stalled at one of the portraits giving him some space to be alone. “When was the last time your portrait was painted?”
Loki pinched the bridge of his nose to stop from crying, which didn’t work. He tearfully locked eyes with hers and wiped her tears from her cheek. “I didn’t blame you. Even if I wanted to, I never could find a fault in you. I was the cause of everything wrong.” He began to sob, taking heaving breaths that interrupted his words. “If it hadn’t been — for m-me the — boys w-would — boys — w-would still — be a — live and and y-you —“he was gasping for air at this point, sobbing uncontrollably. Loki buried his face in her neck, tightly holding her as he continued to cry and barely able to breathe.
After what felt like an eternity of sobs, the man was able to calm enough to breathe. He pulled away from Sigyn (shocked to not be covered in more snot) and continued his thoughts from earlier. A hand caressed her cheek as he did so. “If I had been less focused on why Odin loved Thor more or figuring out my next prank, and rather spent more time proving my love to you and the boys” a lump caught in his throat “then they would still be here today, with us where they belong.” Loki took a moment to catch his breath again. He sobbed silently for a moment as Sig weakly gave her reply. The man again buried his face in her neck, holding her tenderly and afraid to let go. No tears were rolling down his face any longer, but the shakes of the sobs were still there.
Nearly an hour later of just laying against Sigyn, absorbing the fact this was real, and taking in her natural scent, he asked a question so softly, he himself barely heard.
“No Loki, no. You were not the cause– I’m not sure what was, but it was not you, my love…” Sigyn speaks softly, her hand reaching up to gently caress his cheek as tears welled in her eyes. Fate had not been fair to them, that’s all that there was to it. It did not matter what either of them did or did not do– neither of them were to blame for any of this.
Sigyn held her love as tight as should, rocking them back and forth as she soon joined in his sobs. How could she not, when they had been through so much? They had lost everything and were finally given the chance to grieve together no longer forced to be apart or at odds with one another.
“Loki please, do not bring up the past. You were not the only one to blame for us losing them…” She says, griping his free hand with a tender firmness. “They should have never been taken from us in the first place… Not like, that. And we both know neither one of us could have done anything to stop it without meeting an even worse fate.”
Sigyn had done everything she could to wipe her mind of what had happened to their sons… but those memories resurfacing were hard to take, thus a few sobs continued to fall from her lips. Yet, his question shook her from her mind’s torment and even allowed a soft smile to pull at the corner of her lips.

Loki grumbled angrily at her for her protests and quick turns. “Stop - STOP! Sig, please!” He grabbed her arm, stopping her from getting out of the parked car. His sides burning with pain. “Can you please just- chill.” A wrong choice of words, but all he could think of. “Look at me.” He sighed and brushed the hair from her face. “Sigyn… you realize if I, if we go in there, those nurses are gonna ask a shit ton of questions about how we got here. Knowing who Theoric is, and especially who his dad is, that’s gonna end up with me in serious trouble. Jail kind of trouble.” His slender finger stroked her cheek. The other hand gripped at his side, hurting too much to not acknowledge. “I hit him first, I am the trouble outsider, I am legally an adult. Theoric is the golden child, defending himself, still 17. If I go in there..” he paused. “If you come in with me it will be worse. Please…”
@cffidelityy
Sigyn inhales sharply through her nose as she tries her best to “chill” as Loki instructs her to do. She can’t help how she reacts when knowing he’s hurt, of course, she’s gonna worry– it’s simply her nature. However, she does her best to calm down and leans her face into his touch. Sigyn knows that he’s right, but it doesn’t make her any less upset.
“Okay, you make a fair point… At least let me see if Gaea can come out for a bit and look at you? I promise she won’t say anything. If anyone’s good at keeping secrets it’s my grandma.” She says, her hand moving to rest on top

Loki leaned back against his seat, tonguing his split lip and with a slight eye roll over the mention of Gaea. “Sig..” he sighed. Loki had always been alone and thought he always would be alone. Any time he took a beating he took care of the injuries himself. Frigga would help on occasion but only if she caught him mending himself. She always gave him a look but never said much. He had taken beating far more than he cared to admit to anymore. Damn silver tongue got him into as much trouble as it got him out of. He looked back over at Sigyn. “If a brief once over will make you feel better, little dove, then so be it”. He gave in.
“Don’t! I don’t wanna hear it, I’m taking you to the ER!” Sigyn snapped, waiting to make sure he got in the passenger seat okay. “OH! And I’m calling your brother, someone needs to know what’s going on. Especially because by the look of it, you’re probably staying over night. God why didn’t you say something sooner, this is not okay!” The teen said, trying not to panic. Sigyn hated seeing him like this and just wanted to help make it stop.
“Don’t you dare call Thor!” Loki threatened while clutching his ribs as she took turns sharply. With the way Sigyn was driving, Loki nearly felt that she was going to kill him out of spite for not saying anything earlier. “I was trying not to ruin what just started..” he admitted quietly. “I’m fine, I always have been, and I always will be.”
“Somebody needs to know, would you rather me call your mother?! I think not!” She yelled while still paying attention to the road. Sigyn had Frigga’s number for emergencies. One because she was their school guidance counselor, and two because she and her mom were friends and her mother instructed her to call Frigga should an emergency ever happen while she and her father were out of town.
“You are not fine, now shut up and lets get you inside!” The teen snapped again as pulled into a parking space. So much for a great first date, but at least she was here to help.
“This is your fault… This was all your fault. Why? I don’t understand how you could do this to us…” Sigyn said, struggling to talk due to her coughing up blood from the severe would she had been suffering. Loki, who was holding her— only now showing any sign of regret, had started Ragnorok. It was because of him that there sons were gone, and she ways dying. Wars had ran rampant during this time, and she had finally caught herself caught in middle of one.
The goddess looked at her husband on last time, and laughed. “I don’t understand how I still love you….. In the next life, don’t look for me Loki. I hated this life…don’t make me relive it…” The blonde mumbled, the hand that had held his arm became limp.
Sigyn, the goddess of fidelity, had finally taken her last breath.
Years later, The Gods and Goddess of the great realms that had fallen during Ragnarok had been reincarnated. Some held their previous memories and some didn’t. However, everyone who were once together, were reunited, all except for one missing goddess. The one of fidelity had not returned.
Down on Midgard, a young woman, now by the name of Veronica Greene had to run to keep up with her friends who much farther ahead of her. Curse her short legs! Now she was going to be late for her first day of college! “Heather! Abbie! Slow down!” Sigyn shouted, grunt when she was knocked on her butt after running into someone. “Oh god! I’m so sorry!” The girl spoke, scrambling to her feet and making sure nothing was dropped out of her bag. “I’m sorry I didn’t see …you …there…” She spoke, her head tilted to the side as she looked at the man in front of her… Why did he look so familiar?
Loki smiled softly and squeezed her hand back. “You called..” he answered softly. He shook his head lightly at her apology, “what for? You were not the monster”. the man brushed a hair from her face and kissed the knuckles of the hand that held his. “I haven’t brought you anything of theirs…” he was quieter than before.
Sigyn shook her head and held his hand tighter. “You are not a monster, Loki… The Norns set a path for us that we cannot explain, and I’m sorry I didn’t accept that sooner….” She said softly, the faintest of smiles tugging at her lips when he kissed her head, only to disappear at the mention of their boys. “I know… I knew when I asked, but I wanted to hope… I miss them… I think that’s been the hardest part in all of this. I have been… Blinded, by my grief.”
No tears were rolling down his face any longer, but the shakes of the sobs were still there.
Nearly an hour later of just laying against Sigyn, absorbing the fact this was real, and taking in her natural scent, he asked a question so softly, he himself barely heard.
Loki was completely zoned out and again had to be nudged by his brother ot pay attention. As he refocused on what was happening he saw Sigyn step forward. The two Aesir princes bowed toward her. Thor started up with the schmoozing and Loki stayed quiet. There was no need to be a suck up when there wasn’t a choice for either party. Loki glanced to their parents as a private tour was suggested, then back to his former playmate. She grew into herself and definitely was not scrawny anymore. She still had a slender frame but with beautiful curves that were accentuated by her gown.
“Shall we, then?” The first words he had said all day. Probably the most he had said in a few days. He could see his mother glance over her shoulder and give him an encouraging look. She knew everything that was going on with his current marriage as his sole confidante, and wanted him to find happiness wherever he could. Loki bowed to their hosts then offered his arm to Sigyn. She would lead the way, but he was to be the perfect gentleman.
“It would be my pleasure,” Sigyn said softly, a gentle, yet nervous smile forming on her face. Her mind was wandering through the many possibilities of how this situation may go. While he may seem fine now, behind closed doors it would be likely that he was furious with this situation. Or was he perhaps just as happy to see her as she was to see him? “We shall,” She spoke as she took his arm and lead him out of the throne room and into the main corridor, which would lead them to the gardens if they traveled far enough.
Once they were alone and completely out of ear shot, the goddess let out a sigh of relief before speaking again. “Loki…. It is good to see you again. I’d like to apologize for the circumstances we find ourselves in..” Sigyn spoke as they walked, looking at the various tapestries that littered the walls. She could not imagine this was easy for him, for it certainly was not for her, but she hoped they could at least rekindle their old friendship at least.
Loki smiled softly at her but avoided eye contact. Not because he was afraid to meet her gaze but because his mind was elsewhere. He barely heard a thing she said but assumed it was some kind of apology about the situation. “Likewise.” He said quickly. Sigyn had been trying her best to stay calm as she stood tall in Vanaheim’s throne room. Today was the day tensions between her realm and Asgard would end, and it was also the day she would see her betrothed for the first time in years. Once upon a time, before tensions rose and minute battles started, she and the princes of Asgard had been playmates in their childhood due to their mothers friendship. However, she and Loki had always been much closer than she had been with Thor.
As a young goddess, she had even sent several letters to both Loki and Thor, but never heard anything back. However, she knew now it was highly likely that they’d had never even received them. Hell, Loki probably didn’t even remember her, especially since the last she heard he’d gone off and had children. She did however feel sorry for the mother, as this situation was likely breaking her heard if they were still together. Her lady’s in waiting never seemed to give her the same story twice, so she was unsure of the details.
Her thoughts were shaken however as the guards announced the arrival of the Asgardian Family before opening the doors. The goddess curtsied politely and stood with a smile on her face, ready to play the role of the diplomat as her mother suggested. Yet, she was stunned as her eyes met green and the emotions of her girlhood crush came flooding back. This was going to be a difficult meeting indeed.
