So, I don’t know if it’s worth showing, but this is Leviathan. She’s my Entrapdak kid. I know I’m bad at art, but shut up, I usually tell people around me it’s stylised and they leave me alone. Sorry if the image is blurry, my phone’s really shitty.

Anyway, here’s some of the though process behind this Frankenstein’s monster. Leviathan is trans, that’s why her hair colour scheme is pinkish-purple, for Entrapta, and then blue and white, from Hordak, it just fit too well to pass up.

I love shadows and black ink, so there you go, it gives her sort of an ominous, and mysterious atmosphere. She doesn’t leave the Crypto Castle very much, she’s kind of Etheria’s own cryptid. A folktale to scare kids around the campfire. Tales which are true. She’s a bad bitch and she’s comin’ for the throne. Also if you squint the black might indicate the void of space with the light of stars peeking out.

The skull likeness isn’t accidental, it connotes ‘evil’ and ‘monster’ as it should. I see her as the villain for the next generation of fankids. The white face, obviously inherited from Hordak is seen to only come out partly, Entrapta’s genes masking the clone ones. It was meant to have a vitiligo look to it. The dark blue and golden outlines are meant to further that look. The blue of course representing Hordak’s skin, and the gold represents Entrapta’s brownish skin ( I didn’t have a colour to match her skin colour, nor her hair, so apologise, again stylished argument).

I say she’s about 20, way older than the other kids. Her personality adjusts to what the situation requires. Not many people know her, but she does have to attend some gatherings with the Princess Alliance. She finds that when talking to the Alliance as a whole, or the softer members like Adora, Bow, Scorpia etc she falls back on her clumsy, silly, naïve, nerd/dork fake persona, inspired by her mother. Playing a parodied version of her mother, that’s what the Princesses expect. No one suspects anything, after all it’s just Entrapta’s kid, she’s silly and fun! Ho ho, so cute!

But the moment she turns around and walks out of that conference room her facial expression, her posture, her demeanour, it all changes. She’s quiet, serious, easily irritated, furious, that’s her real self, depicted in the drawing. The Entrapta nasal laugh and hyperactive jumping around cuts out. Now she is cold. She uses this demeanour rarely, Dryl needs to build bridges with other kingdoms to survive and thrive, but it did slip out one or twice with Glimmer or Mermista, when she was either denied something or heard her parents being insulted.

Entrapta and Hordak are dead in the present, nobody really now how they died, some say it was a malfunction in a ship they were building, some say Hordak died because of his defects and Entrapta simply couldn’t go on without him, but everyone’s most infamous theory is, of course, that Leviathan was the one who killed them…

And her favourite flavour of ice-cream is vanilla.

Okay, I think its finally done. Again, Entrapdak is the first time I ever got really invested in a ship. I’m pretty happy with how it came out, the shojo sparkle background was both way more in line with the tone I wanted and WAY easier to make.

I had considered animating the butterflies, but I figured I should quit while I was ahead.

Character files for my Hordak clone ocs, loosely based on old She-Ra villains, enjoy:

-Mission File: 'The Defects'-

♤Hordak-218,666 - Designation: Hec-Tor

Status: Functional

Class: Regular

The unit is the second youngest of the squadron, however has proven to be effective, successful and listed as worth recloning. This unit is the only regular trooper and therefore assuming the role of leader. The unit provides all the advantages of a standard model of clone.

♡Hordak-211,114 - Designation: Modulok

Status: Functional

Class: Defect

The unit at first showed no signs of defection, however, over time the unit's molecular bonds began to weaken and detirorate. Which gave the unit ability to transmute between solid, liquid and gas states. A multi-bot drone had been asigned to the unit, to act as a skeleton to stablise and control the transformations. This unit is the oldest of the squadron.

♢Hordak-217,458 - Designation: Vultak

Status: Functional

Class: Defect

The unit at first showed no signs of defection, however, over time the unit's mitosis process increased dramatically. The cell divison resulted in arm and back growths, which configurated into large wing-like structures. Due to defection implants were installed vice clamps at the feet and a radar modual in the skull to aid with high altitude flights.

♧Hordak-212,287 - Designation: Mosquitor

Status: Functional

Class: Defect

The unit showed signs of defection immediately, weak, fragile skin formed. Unable to survive any atmosphere. An exo-skeleton suit had been commissioned to incase the organs in a 'walking hospital bed', by Hordak-211,114 (Modulok). The suit was armed with long range weaponary and equipped with an artilary mode, creating a perfect sniper.

♤Hordak-213,333 - Designation: Leech

Status: Functional

Class: Defect

The unit at first showed no signs of defection, however, over time the bone structure surfaced, covering the skin. Unfortunetly causing the unit's jaw to snap off, replaced by cybernetic mandibles. The unit also infamously developed a secondary muscle tissue system consisting of movable coils. Which sprout and retract through the unit's palms. The tendrils were converted into electrical whips.

♡Hordak-211,114.5 - Designation: Despara

Status: Functional

Class: Horde-Bot

Sub-Class: AITM (Artifitial Intelligence Torture Mech)

The unit is not an offical clone even though registered as a Hordak. The unit is an A.I. system isolated in a a suit of armour, constructed by Hordak-211,114 (Modulok). The mech armour had been converted from an ancient coffin. The unit is capable of engulfing and trapping a wearer, interogating them with sonic emitters, searing plating and electricution.

Caution Note: The unit has shown instinces of outbursts of murderous violence towards her fellow troopers. Only regular units however. The unit has been scedualed for an inspection after the mission.

♢Hordak-214,221 - Designation: Dragstor

Status: Recharging

Class: Ex-Enhancer/Defect

The unit at first showed no signs of defection, however, over time neurons in the unit's brain-modual began to break down, slowing electrical impulses. Resulting in decrease of brain-modual function. The unit was asigned to periodical recharge times and recharge stations to pump repair nano-bots to reconstruct neurons faster than they could break down.

Project Spirit Note: The unit was originally a part of an experimental project, so the unit was repurposed rather than thrown out. Project Spirit providing enhanced speed. (Full potential not tested)

♧Hordak-213,858 - Designation: Dylamug

Status: Functional

Class: Horde-Bot

Sub-Class: Waste-Disposal

The unit is not an offical clone even though registered as a Hordak. The unit is a repurposed prototype of a waste-disposal drone that had been discontinued. The unit was converted into a secondary torture apparatus, informally codenamed: 'Despara's lil RoBro'. The unit had been equipped with multiple mechanical arms, a human sized vat of acid and brute stature.

♤Hordak-216,773 - Designation: Mantenna

Status: Functional

Class: Defect

The unit at first showed no signs of defection, however, over time the bone structure began to elongate and expand. Forcing the skull are to cave in, painfully. Lose of sight enhanced the unit's echo-location skills. The bone growths resulted in the formation of a pair of hind legs and sharp talons. The skull area was reconstructed, gifting the unit with a uni-beam laser emitter where the eyes once were.

It turns out that Horde Prime’s fatal mistake was that he didn’t realize Entrapdak was canon.

Entrapdak is still subtext, they didn't confirm it

Y’all can’t be seeing that entire arc and say they ain’t canonically in love. Season 3 and 4 already have huge evidence for it but like we can dive here too.

How about the first time we see Entrapta having a chance to see a dormant clone she immediately goes to it to check if it’s Hordak? She’s in a genelab of some kind, the tech here is amazing, and she’s immediately ignored it to check on this clone.

We learn she recovered the LUVD Crystal and has had it on her person this whole time just in case she finds Hordak and he needs it. She’s carrying it with her because she cares about him, she worries about him, she wants to help him.

She just so desperately wants it to be him, to see him again and for him to see her.

Of course this is Wrong Hordak, which leads to another very important reveal.

Entrapta has been keeping a list. We can infer she’s been watching the clones to try and determine which one is Hordak. This is an active tally in her mind, something she’s been doing. Entrapta isn’t really one to pine, she’s one to work, and this is her working in regards to Hordak.

On Hordak’s side?

Entrapta loses the crystal on Prime’s Ship, and Hordak finds it. Hordak has been reset but he sees it and immediately remembers her, at least her name. His affections for her are strong enough he instantly begins to break control.

Other times we see a solid break of control like this are on chipped people, notably Catra and Spinnerella who break Prime’s grip through their love. This continues too. Hordak continues to have scenes holding and pondering the crystal, and when Prime has him help retrieve memories from an old body we get the scene of Hordak retrieving his own memories. 

Notably he takes a risk, while Prime is distracted he lets himself dive into his own mind.

And very notably gets this flashback at the end of the sequence.

Let’s zoom forward to Failsafe, back on Etheria. To their ENCOUNTER. Hordak finds her, asks her what she is doing here. Then sees her and...

He recognizes her.

Entrapta does THIS, and then...

This is a CLASSIC trope right here. Character who isn’t supposed to feel things falls in love and drops that “What have you done to me?”

Entrapta takes his hand. A gentle touch between them as they found each other again.

As Swift Wind pulls her away the last thing she does is remind him his Imperfections are Beautiful, he’s Beautiful. She knows he’s out there, he recognizes her. She knows he’ll come back to her. There’s faith there, and Entrapta normally isn’t really one for that.

And that night.

While everyone else is asleep she pulls up an image of him, just to look at it.

And then, and THEN. The real OOMF moment to it all. Entrapta is captured, Hordak is her primary guard here.

Instantly he is upset to see her upset, and when ordered to kill her later.

He breaks free. He reclaims himself to protect her, to save her. Just as she’s saved him.

He looks back at her, gentle and kind, and dare I say loving?

Entrapta confirms she simply believed in him, in his ability to overcome.

Then Prime does his space demon possession thing, and She-Ra purifies Hordak. 

Like do I even need commentary for this?

This is a love arc. It’s really really blatant. They don’t kiss, they don’t say the words love but also its Entrapta and Hordak. That’s not really how they are? That’s part of the beauty of it too. They clearly, very clearly, love each other and it’s in their own way.
