Meet Lyra Jones! She’s a random OC, I might throw her into Kierra’s world but for now she bounces around between a couple of my worlds with a few of my misc. OCs n whatever; she’s as free as I want her to be 🥹🥹

Like this whipped boy; Mephilis aka [REDACTED] who’s been her closest friend and confidant alongside his wife for years. And also the #1 object of his undying yearning; she loves him but will never give him an inch lol.

AHHHHH I LOVE HER SM, SHES SO PRETTY SHES SO BAAAAAAAAD. Lyra is such a doll I adore drowning my babes in pink. (Also peep the Rouge cosplay, I gotta draw her in more cute fits/costumes)

💖: Lyra works as a dancer

💖: She’s somewhere in her 20s(I haven’t pegged a specific age for her, but she’s somewhere in there.)

💖: Avid cosplayer/costume designer. (Her favs are Rouge, Johnny Cage and Bayonetta)

💖: Very much Harujuku,Y2K, hyperpop baddie. Pinks and yellows are always appreciated in her house lol. She also loves/lives for streetwear

🌻: Very carefree and expressive. A gift giver who loves spoiling her friends

🌻: Not a morning person lol, she’d sleep till noon if she wasn’t a busy bee.

Between SPiRAL and other stuff I wanna work on, I got caught up in Lego Monkie Kid and the show is absolutely great, I love it sm. I gotta watch more if it; but in the meantime I decided to try my Spiral Kids in the artstyle. (Mostly traditional lol) so I did a digital Lifen to pass the time before my GuanFan post.

I could see her being a background character/maybe special appearance character. (And since there’s already a descendant of Wukong, she’d just be a normal monkey girl with too much energy and way too much interest in Redson) She probably runs a flower shop with her parents or runs around like a street rat causing trouble for the locals lol.

Thoughts on Bakupeach (Bakugo Katsuki x Momoko Hanasaki)?

BakuMomo is a ship I’ve never thought too much about honestly lol. I’ve always been a pretty big TodoMomo shipper; but I can get behind them. I think they’d be the “nerdy girl x angry jock” trope to a T, and it could be really cute. Seeing as how Bakugou would probably start bringing her around his friends, I think it could be a really fun ship. (And the teasing from Mina, Sero and Denki could be fun too.)

Announce Post

Semi Permanent Hiatus & Last Week Chibi Run

Hey one hey all, I know this is probably gonna come as a shock to everyone but I’m gonna be going on a 4-6 month hiatus if I come back at all. Life’s just been lifeing a bit too rough for ya boi so I’m gonna be working on fixing that at least someday.

“WoahWoah! Bestie that’s a bit drastic no? Can’t you be on socials while working to feel better?”

Yes that’s true; but some stuff doesn’t work out that well for me to make that happen. So I’ll just be gone. Yall are all very much loved and appreciated which leads into the second part of this post; Chibi Run!

So because I do have a couple of cool friends and mutuals on here. I’ll be giving myself a week of time to do a lil bit of fanart for them and also make an appreciation post, or just shouting out a character I enjoy from media or fanon creations. A lil spotlight for some cool gals, guys, heys and theys ya know?

The soft scent of moss and frankincense, the smoke of soot, the softness of freshly grown down muffling her hearing slightly while the larger harpy snuggled into her. “OPALESCENT! MY FRIEND MY DEAREST FRIEND!” She cried in excitement.

Soon came the flurry of kisses and playful nips to her Opal’s face and neck; as if confirming the stone was truly gone. Her flesh has fully returned. “Yes yes! I’m here Meilin, pesky bird you.” The satyr laughs and Meilin coos.

“Never leave again; friends til the end!” Opal hums back and pressed a gentle, long awaited kiss to the taller girl. No time truly lost; no more pain in separation. Just the new chapters they’re going to start.”

do you think eglantine told soren's parents what happened to kludd which is the reason why they didn't mention him in the ending of legend of the guardians: the owls of ga'hoole?

I think it was a mix of her telling them what he’d done to her, and a mix of hearing what happened to him from Eglantine & Soren.

Given she still pretty young I could see her maybe mixing up things that happened from the entire time she was there, but Soren given the full explanation/story. Their parents just kinda accept that Kludd is gone with heavy but understanding hearts.

OC INTRODUCTION: ⚜️🦉MEILIN SILVERWING OCTAINE🦉⚜️

We start with this absolutely adorable doodle I did on my flight; ain’t she cute?? No name at this point, but because I was getting back into Ga’Hoole……..owl baby lol. I had too, it was calling me.

I wanted her to be somewhat adjacent to my SparrowKingsley design, but mostly just owl harpy girl. No name……no lore

Then…… it hit me

Then I started drawing her more; started thinking about this lil ball of fluff and weirdness, figuring her out more and getting the hang of drawing her. Also thinking about a new colour scheme/name for her. But I knew she was an owl shapeshifting harpy, the last of her kind probably before we finally get to our finished product!!

Meilin Vivía Owletta Silverwing Octaine! A harpy chimera born in the Middle Ages in a time where magic and myth thrived before it was all seemingly washed away from memory.

Genuinely, she’s all I’ve drawn for the past week. Shes my oshi lol. Genuinely just everything I love, she’s brown💅🏾, golden and got those big ol Duchess the Cat Sapphire eyes. I get to draw her being as silly or serious as I want, she shapeshifts and universe jumps I love it.

Some fun facts;

⚜️: She’s not based off one specific owl but more of a mix between a Great Horned Owl and a Barn Owl :3

⚜️: Meilin was born to a harpy mother and a manticore father, It was a rather difficult pregnancy but her husband worked to help her through it.

⚜️ Her parents had a relatively easy marraige/life. Making the best of their lives and giving Meilin everything and more

⚜️ She can’t understand spoken language; but can understand written language. On the flip side, she only speaks Latin.

⚜️ When she gets wet, her hair (which is mixed with her feathers) will curl/frizzy, and she’s unable to fly. Her feathers also fluff up with surprise/anger/being startled etc.

⚜️ She has not only the ability to hoot, but also roar, purr and hiss. Allowing for a range of emotions that don’t require speech.

⚜️ Meilin is a shapeshifter as well; her form shifting to that of a human(with feathers covering her body), hands, wings, or a large owl.

AND WITH THAT IM FINISHED AHHHHHH. I hope that she is enjoyed as much as I enjoyed her; my lil owl gal 🥹🥹

do you think soren fighting metal beak should have been longer in the movie?

Hell yeah it should’ve been!! I would’ve loved a longer fight with Soren and MetalBeak, especially since it was that “GET YOUR BIG ONE AHHHH” moment.

Been rewatching LoTG: Owls of Ga’Hoole; and I honestly forgot just how beautifully animated this movie was. The way their eyes would shift and dilate, the subtle beak movements, the details of their feathers and the vibrancy in colour/shading.

The way we can see the fledglings downy fluff start to turn to adult flight feathers. The sheer variety of owls that we got to see as a whole!!

The absolute VILLAINY OF NYRA ALL ON BEHALF OF HER HUSBAND AND CULT. METAL BEAK AND HIS KILLING SPREE, THE FACT WE SAW THE PROTAGONIST SORIN LOSE NOT ONLY HIS BROTHER BUT THEN BECOMING A GUARDIAN OF LEGEND

Ohmygaditssuchagoodmovie. This movie if you love birds, was such beauty and will definitely touch a place in your heart. I gotta get the entire book series and at least one set of wings lol. Some of yall had Warrior Cats and Geronimo/Thea Stilton, I had Babymouse, Ga’Hoole and Dragon Songs lmao. My high fantasy loving ass.

I love being so crafty because now I have the ability to make yarn tails and cover them in flowers/kandi to fully embody my fursonas while saving for a full suit #shoutout my black furries/kemonomimis and therians; yall are hella lit. I need to see more of yall in my feed ;w;

So I’ve been on a creativity kick with yarn, beads, faux flowers and lots of sewing but it’s so much fun ngl. (And if I leave the yarn twisted it gives mini twists/faux locs so I love that sm.
