Who is Nin?!

So Nianqing ‘Nin’ is my Pucca/Garu Kid I’ve been hiding for years lol.

(I do wanna point out, most of her lore in the first image has changed lol, what’s consistency???)

ANYWAYS ONTO THE LOREBOAD

• She still lives in Sooga Village but travels abroad for about half the year at a time.

*her house is actually really close to her parents, so they have family dinners very often.

• Nin, while coming off very stoic shows a lot of expression through her eyes and eyebrows(a skill she’s learned after years with her parents lol)

• She’s selectively mute, choosing to speak; usually whenever she’s alone or journaling. But will usually communicate through sign language/expression.

• She’s hella tiny, and she blames her parents. (She’s the shortest of the 3, with Pucca being tallest at 5’5, Garu at 5’4, and Nin @ 5’)

• She works part time at the noodle shop.

• She’s a Demi goddess(due to her mother, also got that idea from @froppy-butterflyfan2000 of Pucca being a goddess. Shoutout yoooooou)

• Her hair colour is thought to make her extra lucky(the streaks of red, yet no one is quite sure where they came from fully. She dyes them a brighter red from time to time or will go full red)

• Nin lives by her “ninja way” aka “leave me alone; I’ll leave you alone. I move in silence and shadows, gone like the wind. Vanishing like a ghost.” And she does just that

But yes, this is Nin, my lil ninja girl. Not very girly, not super into dresses (hence the shocked look of probably Pucca seeing her in the dress, then immediately putting her into the pageant just to cry happy tears about her “Beautiful lil girl🥹🥹🥹”

I was very in my “I wanna make another Pucca kid but flexible enough to just exist” and I think she fits that lol. But I love her.

(I had a ref for her but oof, that THANG is outdated lol. She used to have a bang n errythang. It was rough.)

Sunset Slumber in the Gardens

The Jade Palace welcomes few wandering mortals through their gates. Evangeline being one of the few most recently brought up to play in the Royal Court; and it’s even rarer to see any monkey’s aside from Sun Wukong running about

So when Lifen fell into her lap; snoring softly from exhaustion or whatever she had done for the day a flush coloured washed over her cheeks. Eyes wide in amazement, she’d never seen Lifen so…..relaxed. So at peace, painted in the orange and reds of the sunset.

Eva smiles; leaning back on her hands, turning back to watch the sunset as Lifen’s soft snores seemed to fall in time with the breeze. Arms wrapping around Eva and nuzzling into her more.

Soon enough she’ll wake and the two would return to their separate lives on earth…..but for now this moment could last an eternity.

I was mostly drawing Eva and then figured “well why not draw the monkey gal??? No one talks about her either.” Then it hit me, “DRAW THEM TOGETHER!” And now we’re here lol. Can we tell I’m obsessed with my AU to a degree because I am. I swear there’s only like 4 others then I’ll be done and yall can go buck wild lmao.

Evangeline and Lifen, Lifen and Evangeline. I definitely could and do love the idea of them knowing each other in heaven but not really interacting much in earth. Or Lifen being a literal mischief maker in Eva’s life for no other reason than “I like to see her mad >:3” (but in like, small silly ways like switching her sheet music or joining her when she’s playing) Eva wouldn’t mind it too much, it probably makes her laugh more than anything. (I could see Eva enjoying the antics. She loves the dramatic flair just like her daddy and Lifen adds that to her life.)

You got singles, doubles, period fiction. Hell you can put him in angst and he’ll still be good for a family of 4. Look at him and tell me the ideas don’t just ooze from his freckles. (I’ve honestly been a major Kingsley fan for the longest time and was stanning the revival arc.

BUT NOW???? NOW THIS BOY IS FINNA BECOME THE MAIN CHARACTER (not like he wasn’t already lol) I want nothing more than to hold him in my mouth and just shake him like a rag doll.

And now; I’m sticking him into a DynastyAU. He’s a Curse Breaker(who was cursed himself) and finds himself stuck with a darling but ditzy jiangshi who can’t remember how she died. Going on journeys and travelling, and hijinks.

I’m drowning in hyper fixation nation lol

(I guess these also count as redesigns?? I don’t think so but maybe. I just need him to look a 👌more like his daddy; just a bit.

Okay, so I’ve seen a resurgence of crackshipping (lol, I lied. I lowkey want it back) and omw home from work I started thinking about that Multiverses(also because I saw some Merida/Ian Lightfoot and said “oh that’s Tea.”

“Rise of the Tangled Guardians” was the fandom, and I used to think it was #cringe (cuz I myself was a cringy 12-13yo anime fan. Now I get the Tea, I understand the flavour lmao)

But anyways, back to the topic!
