There is a pedophile in the suggestion community: a call-out.
In mid-december it came to light that a suggestion community member, @send-a-fully-armed-batallion of @forgottensuggestions was in a pedophilic relationship. Paxton, formerly known as Oliver during the first half of the drama, is twenty-one years old (21, x) and dating Rubin, formerly known as Pearl, the sixteen year old of @angels-from-high , @hushed-suggestion , and @shattered-suggestions.
The couple wholeheartedly admits to this fact, and they claim it is a loving* & healthy relationship, but that isn’t how it works; relationships between adults and minors are anything but healthy. There is such a vast difference in development (x, x), and there is a power balance– not in the least because of financial and legal standing (at 16 you might be able to drive a car; at 18 you can join the military, vote, and smoke in some states, and sign most legal contracts; at 21 you can drink alcohol.) There also is the fact that teenagers are considered unreliable, and adults are respectful and automatically trustworthy, and adults have more life experience: 5 years is 31.25% of a 16-year-old’s life.

So, why then, is this such a controversial topic?
Despite admitting to this relationship most blogs refuse to acknowledge that pedophilic nature of the relationship, and it is considered drama & discourse to call him out.
They have received an unacceptable amount of support, and continue to act like victims. Even worse, they have showed increasingly abusive behavior when confronted.
When we mentioned it was illegal, and we wanted to bring in the cops– after I personally got threats of being doxxed (x, x)– he responded with this post: x, but being LGBT+ shouldn’t excuse illegal behavior.
There is evidence below the read-more, but here is what I propose: you don’t have to reblog this post– you don’t have to get into this drama, but please tell your friends about these toxic people, and block @send-a-fully-armed-batallion from all your suggestion blogs. Do not let him interact with you, do not let him sneak back into our community.
