Eridan walked through the lobby looking for the information on where exactly his room was. Yes he was rooming with... Oh... The rules guy and a person he didn't know. Well he would make the best of it somehow. Now to find the room itself or cabin? Was a cabin better than the rooms they had in the academy? Time to find out. Setting off he followed the road to the cabins while looking over his map making note of places there. 

Okay now he was confused how in the world was it so hard to find a cabin. Sighing he sat down on a well placed bench. "Any one able to help me find my room? I havve to admit i thought it would be easier than this wwhy is it evverythin this farce of a school does wwith us is so confusin?" 

Ahh his stutter just had to make an appearance he thought he had worked that out. Oh well he would start working on that later there's to much to do here. Perhaps... No, he wasn't going to risk getting lost by going off without someone to help him find the room.

002 Wandering the Halls (open)

After spending that short amount of time at the pool and trying to get his mind off the troublesome factor of the fires that had spread earlier today, Phantom R walked away from the pool area casually - though he intended on asking someone else if they wouldn’t mind himself having a room change to their room today, one that he’d wanted to do but been too shy to ask for some time - there was no hurry in asking. Ride the rhythm of life! He was always good at that.

Thought, spotting a face he did not know was a pleasant change in tempo to this, too. “Bonjour, new face. ” Tipping the fedora of the thief costume he wore (he’d changed to it soon after leaving the pool), the Phantom’s relaxed expression showed a hint of curiosity. “Know much about this place yet, Monsieur? If not, I’d be happy to share advice, should you be willing to listen.” Hey, he didn’t really ‘befriend’ a whole lot of people in the school, mainly to stay secretive…

But he had no objections to trying to aid someone.

Eridan looked over the person getting closer to him not really knowing if this guy was for real of not. He just semed so...  Laid back compared to how he knew mots people in this school should be feeling so maybe he knew more than he did. Either way this seemed like someone he didn't want to get on the wrong side of. 

Then he started talking, so he was offering to help him out some? tell him a little bit about this place? He probably wouldn't sugar coat it the way his brother did. "I don'r knoww much so. Sure, I wwould like a chance to learn about the school wwhen my brother isn't sugar-coatin it for me." Lord knoww's his brother has done enough to keep him in the dark about certain parts of the wway this school is run. 

"Anything wwould really be nice to knoww."

"…There’s a map on your MonoMessenger," she pointed out. Of a sort, it displayed what students were staying here and in what rooms.

He looked a bit disgruntled but she wasn’t getting any bad vibes. Her eyes kept drifting back to the game in her hand, but she didn’t resume playing it right away.

"Has he…? Who’s your brother?" She inquired after a second or two. Chiaki wasn’t really sure if he wanted a conversation about it but if not, she could just go back to playing.

Eridan nodded looking at her. "Yes I saw that before but he wasn't in his room like he was supposed to be. So I was looking for him." He sighed looking away sadly. 

If he was being honest he would have said tht the school scares him slightly because it did. More than slightly actually it scared him quite a bit. So much so that he would honestly rather stay somewhere he feltt safe but he knew that nowhere was really safe. 

"He's Cronus, Cronus Ampora, he's like one of those 50's greaser's and he smokes allot but he's the best brother ever..."

Whoops. Hadn’t been paying attention again. She flicked her eyes from the MonoDS she had been fully absorbed in, looking at the boy across from her with a perplexed expression. Clearly not human, though not the first non-human she had met.

"…No, I’m all right." She tended to pause so hopefully he didn’t mind.

"Where were you hurrying off to?" She wasn’t really suspicious, but better safe than sorry.

Eridan looked at her and carefully dusted himself off well at least she was okay. So there wasn't really that much harm done. He sighed listening to her question. Honestly she wasn't doing anything bad he just wanted to learn a bit about the school so he wouldn't get lost.. or stuck in a spot he wouldn't be able to get away from. 

"I wwas scoping out the school so i wwon't get lost.. Wwell that and lookin for my Brother again... he's been here longer than me."

He sighed looking around the hall for another way to go.. perhaps his brother would be around somewhere or someone would be willing to help him find him.

Eridan would have to wait for the fire to be out out but then he would go doen there.. he hoped some of the fish made it through safely.. he was craving fish.

Well... that meant food was now out of the question. What to do now... what to do....

"Because Iku thinks you’re going towards classroom S! There’s a smelly, bloody, scary body in there! Iku wonders why anyone would go there!"

Iku wanted to help people, no matter how much they resisted! Of course, she wouldn’t harm them, but, she’d keep on trying to help! No matter what!

Eridan's mood was getting worse this girl was really getting on his nerves now. He needed to get away form her before he ended up doing something he would regret, well not regret exactly but get executed for. No it wasn't worth it just yet. 

"Noww get out of my sight. Your annoyin me peasent."

Eridan turned and walked in the opposite direction he would check out classroom S later for now... food sounded nice.

Iku, being oblivious to being looked down upon by one of ‘higher class’, was still as bubbly and friendly as normal.

"Mhm! That’s Iku’s name! Nice to meet you Mister Eridan! ”

"You’re new, so, do you need help finding stuff? Iku’d be happy to help!"

So what if he had a speech impediment? Iku spoke in third person; those speech patterns are more or less equal anyway!

Eridan snorted softly to himself was this girl really asking that. The last person he wanted helping him at the moment was her. He didn't want a low... someone of lower rank helping him with anything. 

"I don't need help, I'm better at finding things out on my own." 

"Noww if you don't mind. I wwill be on my wway." 

eridan was wondering what he was thinking before low what? It was always lower rank not anything else.
