To say Kenny was surprised was putting it lightly. For as long as he could remember, there had been a clear divide between his old friends and “Craig and Those Guys” (the Console Wars and Coon and Friends had been exceptions to the rule). To break that tradition almost seemed…wrong.
But it wasn’t like he was that picky when it came to friends – or anything, really. Besides, they seemed a lot more laid back than, say, Kyle or Cartman. Less destruction of the town involved, that sort of thing.
“Sure, that’d be great,” Kenny flagged down a waitress almost immediately with his trademark grin, ordering a stack of pancakes before returning his attention to the conversation. “You haven’t ditched those guys for…Bradley Biggle?”
He couldn’t quite keep the venom out of his voice when he said the name; if there was one person in South Park he couldn’t stand, it was fucking Bradley Mint-Berry Crunch Biggles. That was one plot twist he wouldn’t forget for the rest of his life. To think that he’d turn out to be the most popular kid at South Park High was, to him, yet another middle finger life had thrown at him.
Clyde isn't even surprised that Kenny had so easily agreed to hang out with him and his friends. Kenny seems like the type who just plays along after all. Plus, this isn't the first time he had left Stan's gang for his. He could recall how the blond had supported Craig's show entitled "Animals Close-Up With a Wide-Angle Lens" instead of Stan's show. It was pretty short-lived though because Craig could only be interested in one thing for a brief span of time with Tweek as an exception.
"Awesome!" The jock grins before ordering himself some bacon and eggs to the waitress. At the mention of Bradley Biggle, Clyde blinks in bewilderment at the sudden hostility that comes with Kenny's words. Whoa, why the hate? Bradley seems like a pretty decent dude. He's constantly perky and lifts people's spirits up which is something he always needs before heading out for a game or practice.
"Gee, want some fries with that salt?" He snickers. "What's wrong with Bradley, dude? Everyone seems to like him. In fact, it almost seems impossible to not like him, yeah? So what's up?"
