This is my first piece for the 2025 @tf-bigbang!! I worked with @icypolargirl78, an incredibly talented writer, and satyrn-exe, an equally talented artist! :>
This piece corresponds to Chapter Two of "Born of Destruction and Bathed in Flame"; I've attached a quote below, as well as the link!

"I don't think I can…" A moment passed, then two. "…Primus forgive me."
Click.
There was a single moment of silence before Nyon fell, a moment Hot Rod wished to fill with a scream of anguish as his city burned.
Behold! My pieces I made this year for the @tf-bigbang !
These pieces were all for the fic Once Upon A Time by Haluwasa2 on A03! The first two are collabs with my lovely collab partner @karrashi-artblog ! Soooooo highly recommended giving this wonderful spin on classic fairytales a read!! And it was so fun (and challenging lol) to push myself with these pieces <3
"Metroplex, I should let you know… I destroyed- I'm the one who…"
He couldn't get the name of his city out. It was too hard, but Metroplex didn't frown or glare or chide him, didn't yell or smash him into a million pieces for destroying his home. He only nodded, gently lifting a single digit to every so lightly brush against the top of Hot Rod's helm. "It is okay little flame." He hummed. "You are forgiven."

This year's first @tf-bigbang piece for No Place Like Home, written by @arseniccattails and jabberish. Please also check out the other accompanying artworks made by my amazing co-artist @fishleeks when they are posted in the next couple of days
It’s finally here! My first piece for TF Big Bang 2025 (@tf-bigbang)! I had an absolute joy of time working with Writer @neonhoneycomb and Artists @anchor-naut and @ghostartvation on this beautiful crossover story!
Go read Neon’s fic here: “To Cyclonus, From…”
Neon worked their absolute ass off on this fic (more than 100k words!!) filled with slimes, silliness, and a couple of angsty doofuses (plus tailgate). It took a lot of dedication and you can see it all in their beautiful descriptive scenes! I owe the outcome of this artwork to them and their writing so go show Neon some love 🫶
Anchor and Gorey also worked so extremely hard to provide full illustrations to be scattered around the fic! I’m so happy to have worked alongside them and all of our pieces turned out so so beautiful 🫶
Before being introduced to Neon’s story, never before did I know that I needed a Transformers x Slime Rancher crossover so badly. So if you wanna see our favorite mechs navigate a very cutesy (and sometimes terrifying) environment, go read the fic!!
The head next to him stared at him with a single, lifeless optic. Aside from that it had no features. It was dark blue and too narrow. There was no body attached, it was only a head. It looked…wrong.
Please, he thought. I’m not supposed to be here.

It's over 350,000 words of pure Rodimus and I'm excited to finally share it!
Without further ado, please enjoy a small preview from the first chapter!
Nyon was near unrecognizable. It had never been a very pretty city; buildings and streets covered top to bottom in grime, soot, and enough rust to destroy a titan from the inside out.
But it was home. And that home had meant a damn lot to Hot Rod. He'd found community and comfort and a life bringing him enough happiness to keep going even as the world seemed to crumble around him.
Now the streets smouldered, half dying flames stretching high into the sky as their epicenters belched ugly clouds of smoke into the air. Hot Rod's purifiers worked overtime as he and Slinger climbed over the ghostly skeletons of crumbled buildings. Some of them were still clinging to stay upright, even as chunks of rubble detached from walls and floors sagged with the strain of the flames bearing down.
The phase chargers had done their jobs, reducing Hot Rod's once beloved home to a pile of junk.
His emotional subroutines were still backlogging the damage, locking down anything nonessential into background processing until they could be sure Hot Rod wouldn't just collapse in the middle of the rubble from the stress. He had no plans too, of course, but there was a little part of himself that desperately wanted to crawl into a hole and just let the world pass by for a few cycles.
But he couldn't. He'd already had his emotional breakdown with Slinger. He had to keep going, pushing forwards for the sake of all those who'd died in anguish. The flames might've brought down most of the city, but Hot Rod knew that Zeta Prime's weapons had caused more than a few causalities.
"Oh Primus…" Slinger stopped so abruptly Hot Rod nearly slammed into him.
"What?" He asked, peering around Slinger so he could- "Oh…"
A half melted servo was sticking out of a collapsed building. It was barely recognizable as something once part of another living being, but the little pistons and socket joints couldn't be mistake as anything else. It was impossible to tell who it might've belonged to, paint nanites long deactivated and soot coating the delicate mechanisms of the digits.
"Should we…" Slinger's entire frame trembled, armour clattering against protoform as he took a step back, nearly knocking Hot Rod over in the process. His optics flickered, vents forcing wave after wave of heated air outwards. "Oh Primus, oh Primus, oh Primus, oh-" A few dribbles of energon slipped from his intake, splattering wetly against the rubble as he hunched forwards in distress.
"Slinger!" Hot Rod rubbed a servo against the other bot's backplates. "It's okay."
"I didn't think…" Slinger's vents heaved further, more and more pink staining the ground beneath him. "I thought that- I didn't!" Slinger's vocaliser spit static as he finally purged the contents of his fuel tank. It wasn't a pretty sight, pink and purple puddles splattering with a hiss against the pavement, paired alongside shuddering little bleats of crackling noise from Slinger's vocalser.
Hot Rod comforted him, a few hushed whispers and assuring words as the other bot's stabilizers seemed to give and he went crumpling to his knees.
It's time!! I've been drawing for the 2025 Transformers Big Bang alongside my talented partners, fic writer @languajix and artist @in-the-airducts. If you like Ultra Magnus, explorations of self image, or the Wreckers, come check out Jix's fic (and our artwork) on November 5! And big big thanks to @tf-bigbang for hosting us, it's been an absolute blast.
The time has almost come... I can finally post a sneaky lil peek of my work for @tf-bigbang !! This piece is for @double-u-qed (tothefiniteyou on AO3), check out his fic when it's posted!
