Happy (a day late) new year!

I recently got into the NiGHTS series thanks to Sonic Racing Crossworlds, so I ended up drawing this on the last day of 2025

it fucking sucks to have forsaken as my major hyperfixation. I love the characters and some of the lore, but I feel like I’ll be seen as supporting the devs :c

I should be allowed to enjoy the media I enjoy regardless of the shit the people who made it have done, especially if I am not even contributing monetarily in the slightest

This does not mean I agree with the actions of these people. This just means I'm not going to let go of this so easily

You guys should be allowed to play and enjoy it without being persecuted because somehow we've decided harmlessly enjoying things means complacency or being just as bad as the people who made it. Think of Hazbin Hotel. Harry Potter. Hell, even FNAF.

I am going to continue enjoying the things I enjoy. And you should be allowed to as well. I should not be forced to drop it all just because of the actions of a few people.

Any persecution of me in my asks or DMs will be promptly IGNORED. Harassment is still bad.

Ok ok, after Hytokos response I feel like some things were cleared but it still doesn’t excuse the actions of basil letting Kaiser speak to soul even if it didn’t effect work. No matter what I feel like what soul did was way past wrong and something that can’t be excused.

But after all that’s said and done, it’s over now.. and I need my vampire killer…

its very interesting seeing all of this bc my reason for rejoining roblox was i saw forsaken fandom and thought wow they look like they're having so much fun i wanna join

and i AM still having fun. even if im in rarepair hell (and now that i've detached from forsaken im stuck in even worse rarepair hell. i think i scared another confession blog with how rare my pair is. that was funny)

the nostalgia trip is cool and i have newfound appreciation for roblox as a game engine

i completely get that, and i have to admit i'm sort of in a similar boat! despite all of my whining and complaining about the game and its fandom, i do actually care about forsaken

i've been playing roblox for a long time - my main account was made in 2012, but i've been playing since maybe 2010 or 2011 - so the nostalgia factor is one of the main draws for me, as well as the characters themselves

i'm not trying to like save forsaken or w/e with this blog, but i do want both the fandom and the game to be better. i know both of them can be

Will I ever quit Forsaken? No. I didn't plant these Kinsona or OC seeds for nothing only to rip them out of their roots and throw them away, barely grown (Please get what I am coming from here) but I doubt anyone will care if I quit anyways because I am not as famous as I like to think I am. I like the game and I am not going to throw 8 days I spend on this game down the drain💀

Do you actually believe that Hytoko, Basil, and the rest of the development team are people simply trying their best to develop a game they love in spite of Soul’s actions, and are trying to do the best they can, and thus, still deserves to let their game live on?

Or, do you just want to keep playing the game because you think it’s fun and/or you don’t want to give up on your hyperfixations with the game’s characters and their lore?

Please ask yourself this before choosing to support Forsaken further.
