Mumei Graduation. It hurts. Fauna and Ame at least had their health. Mumei, like Chloe and Shion, is battling a serious health issue. I genuinely am hoping she can recover somehow. Same with all the girls who had to leave due to health issues.

I know the worst kinds of people will be theorizing and calling into question the company. A single part of a single sentence in her graduation announcement, "Misalignment with management..." is all they'll take away from it.

They'll ignore 99% of the video where she expresses her love for singing and performing. They'll ignore how she put much greater emphasis on her now chronic throat condition and how, over the last 2 years, she has tried every single thing she could to try to help it. They'll ignore her wishes to stay positive and to not be negative and infect other member's channels with the discourse.

And somehow, these same people will pretend that they are the saviors and somehow righteous. It's sickening that they earnestly hope every single thing is the worst-case scenario so that they can farm the drama and get on their high horse to shit on corporation vtubers. To them, it's completed justified to act as bad as antis because the company may be doing something not quite good.

I wish this part of the community was just niche. I wish the only way you'd find them is if you were chronically online, but they are always in comment sections. Some of them are just antis rooting against the girls out of spite for people who are happy watching them. I wish what I just said was fake, but there are 10s of 1000s of these people active online.

Like Sana, Chloe, and probably Shion, Mumei likely won't have another life after this, at least one not super public. Those throat issues sound serious. I do hope she is able to keep an online presence, something to support herself at least.

As per her wishes, this will be my only negative post about the topic. I got back into writing this week, but I'm sorry if my motivation is shot. I may end up writing to cope

Tiktok chuds and people who make pirating their entire personality are mad at Crunchyroll for something they didn't even do. I hate how fucking stupid the majority of people are online. They aren't mad about the Sony buy out, the firing of senior members, the replacement of industry leading subtitles to Israel powered ai software, etc.

No, they are mad Netflix and other streaming sites bought exclusive contracts with their favorite anime and out bid Crunchyroll. They are mad that top pirate sites are down because a seperate company took one down for hosting pirate sites and a different data center burned down.

These people will still endlessly consume but feel superior to others because they announce they use Google to pirate things. Crunchyroll will rightfully not care about this dumb fake criticism and nothing will change.

Been a while. Been busy with work and school and just life. Writing has been on and off. January and February were good months for fanfic writing but I'm hoping to really start getting more work done on my novels.

A lot of cool anime are airing of aired last season. Anime Boston was a ton of fun and it's inspired me to catch up with all the anime I missed recently.

Hinge match pushed me over the edge to read All for the Game. 1 week later and I'm halfway through book 3. This is my personality for the next month or two. Sorry

Met someone on hinge. We connected over a book series I wanted to read. We clicked like instantly and talked for a few days as I read the book. Then she just stopped responding to my texts. I'm not heartbroken or anything, she has every right to just stop interacting with me, but I really enjoyed our convos and I thought I had made a new friend. Maybe she was looking for a relationship or maybe I just seemed to overeager to talk to her. I got no one to really talk to about this book series now tho.

It's All for the Game btw. I'm on book 2 already.

FFI Post. Part of a series since I have been playing through all the games.

It's honestly incredible how much they managed to pack into the original Final Fantasy game. While mostly just taking classic fantasy tropes, monsters, and concepts, the feeling of it being like a really fun DnD session makes the bare bones world, characters, and story way less of an issue.

It essentially perfected the jrpg style of combat and the fact I got a full 20+ hours out of the game is insane. I 100% the Pixel Remaster and it was a lot of fun. Needed a guide because these early Final Fantasies can be very vague and aimless at points. The amount of random npcs you have to talk to or random towns you have to visit to progress the story can be a but much, but as long as you have some guide up to help you when you're stuck, the game is paced incredibly well.

It's they generic fantasy game.

American History Books use passive voice overtly for this reason. White people didn't commit the slave trade, the slave trade 'happened' to black people. White slave owners didn't rape and beat their slaves, abuse 'happened' on plantations. Abolishon was opposed vs white racists around the country thought blacks were inhuman. It is only when Lincoln freed the slaves when active voice returns. The northern whites opposed slavery then, but the south didn't resist the change, "there was resistance to it in the south."

Once you learn how passive voice is used in media, you see it everywhere. It's no different than "Palestinian is casualty in attack" vs "A child was bombed intentionally by Israel." When schools teach passive and active voice, the context fails them. Whether or not Hamlet used it in reference to his mother doesn't apply to reality like propaganda does.

It extends to more than just slavery or modern media. When colonialism happened, natives weren't genocided, mass death simply "happened" to them. And it goes the other way as well. The USSR starved it's people, China killed however many millions. Famine and disease didn't happen to them, something actively killed them.

When China has spy wear in phones, they are spying and stealing data, but when they US does the same thing, surveillance is happening to the US people. Corporations aren't killing us, wages are simply down. Capitalism isn't failing, a market collapse is happening again.
