Transformers Bayverse Autobots x Human reader (Crush and Confession Headcanons)
"How would they react to themselves crushing on a human? And how would they confess?"
Characters: Bayverse Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet, and Drift.
A/N: Just to make things clear, these are separated headcanons. GIFs does not belong to me, and credits go to the original creators (Some of them were found in Google). AND I'M GONNA CRY CAUSE THEY MAY SEEM OOC BECAUSE I HAVEN'T WATCHED THE MOVIES FOR MONTHS-😭
Warnings: Potential Movie Spoilers (From 1-5), Maybe some parts for them can be short, Fluff, Mention of Fighting, Drift's past, and, Almost being decapitated, (Not towards reader), Cursing, and, Angst.
Optimus Prime;
•He's surprised with his feelings for you, but he'll be in a bit of denial and be hesitant at first. Thinking he's just way too emotionally attached to you.
•It's because Prime and his fellow Autobots are currently in war, and gaining potential feelings for you just isn't the right time for those kinds of things.
•Should he confess to you? No, it's going to make him look like an idiot in front of others. He has an image and reputation to hold as a Prime. Optimus will be looked at as weak, especially for the Decepticons if they do find out that he cares for a human more than he already should.
•Maybe hide his affections for you, hoping it would go away? Still no, it's going to bother him, if he really had the chance to be with you, and yet he threw it away?
•Yeah, Optimus will deeply regret his decisions if that does happen to him. He'll receive a feeling of a pang of hurt and have feelings of just wanting to turn back time to tell you his true emotions if he could be able to do so.
•So slowly over time, he finally decides to talk with you about his affections for you. In a place where you both can adore the beautiful starry night sky together.
•Optimus will tell you how he enjoyed your company and presence together and talks about amazing you are generally in everything, and when he gets to the point he nervously says,"In our time spent together, I find that I...love you."
•Are you shocked? Oh yes, Indeed you very are, like- Optimus mostly haves his emotions to not be in his way of leading and keeps them in control.
•And the fact Prime accepts he loves you? You're more than shocked, but you also tell him you feel the same way about him. Making Optimus feel relieved as if a heavy feeling on all his shoulders lifted away.
•When you and the Autobot leader get time together, you and him would just drive around the area to relax once in a while to have breaks from work or just talk to each other privately while Optimus gently holds you on his servo. <3
Ironhide;
•Is in so much denial, with his romantic feelings that he developed for you. That he may not talk to you for a while.
•Sure he's a badass weapon specialist who skillfully killed his enemies, but when it comes to this? Oh, Primus no- someone please send him back to Cybertron-
•Ironhide is not the best with his emotions and is not acclimated with them. So he chooses to hide them, 'cause he can be stubborn. Which is not helping him 🤦♀️
•But until Ratchet noticed how strange Ironhide is being when things are about you. He'd always ask if everything was alright with you, or when you need a ride, He always volunteers for you.
•And when Ratchet finds out that he likes you, and that he's hiding it? Well, Ironhide better be prepared for one long lecture on how he'll only make things worse for himself if he hides it from you.
•As time passes by, he finally decides to confess and ask you out. While you both are in a private place. So Mirage and Sideswipe won't be able to tease him-
•While confessing, Ironhide will stutter a lot. Again, it's because he's not used to having feelings like this.
•So please be patient with him when he confesses his feelings for you alright? Are you surprised? Oh hell yeah you are- You're not expecting this from the weapon specialist, who's almost grumpy all the time.
•Then, when you tell him you also feel the same way for him, he's stunned- he doesn't expect you to like him back, but he feels glad that you do.
•And when you both get free time together, he'd teach you how to fight or use guns so that you can defend yourself, or either just relax in each other's presence while you both cuddle when you two feel like it. <3 (Either in Holoform or Mass displacement, but don't worry he'll be gentle and careful as he can for you <3)
Ratchet;
•Another one who's in denial, when he feels himself falling for you? Yeah no, he's not amused of himself.
•He can't even believe himself when he finds out his feelings for you. This isn't like him at all. If Optimus finds out, Ratchet knows that he won't judge him, it'll just look odd to him.
•Just like Ironhide, he can be stubborn at times, so he'll keep away his feelings at first. Thinking that it's the best option for him so that it won't bother him that much.
•But of course, it ends up killing him. When he works, and then someone mentions you, he can't focus properly because just a simple word of you makes him already aware of how you are.
•"Is everything alright with you? Are you injured or sick? Are you captured by the Decepticons?" Is what would probably be in his helm, gaining a feeling of wanting to protect you.
•And will be more protective over you, he'll also be a mother hen if you get wounded. Even if it's not serious, Ratchet will still scold you either way.
•The more time passes by, Ratchet decides to tell you how he has a crush on you and has loved you for a very long time. Both of you are together alone in his medbay.
•Are you surprised? Yeah, you are- You're not expecting him to like you in a romantic way. But you accept his confession, telling him that you like him in the same way as well.
•Which makes him quiet and very surprised than you are, of your reply. He wasn't assuming that you like him back, due to you being one of the closest people he cares for, but he feels calm and warm, knowing that you love him too.
•On how you two would spend time together, you would just talk privately to each other, or assist him while he works, in that way maybe when he's not occupied thanks to your help on his work, he can just be with you, already feeling happy that you're with him alone with no distractions. <3
Drift;
•Another surprised mech when he finds out that the likes you in a romantic way, and would like you to become his significant other.
•When he's alone, he feels himself thinking about you. Sometimes he'd get distracted from meditating just by thinking about you.
•One time, Crosshairs caught Drift being distracted from his meditation, he teased him for being unfocused, and nearly got decapitated from it-
•Despite how Drift has a crush on you, he can still maintain his calm and neutral expression towards you. It seems quite impressive.
•However, a small part of him thinks that he's unworthy to be with you. After everything that he has done in the past.
•Sure, he may have proved himself as an Autobot and has earned redemption. But that doesn't change the fact that he took the lives of bots. He still feels guilty about it.
•As days and nights pass, he confesses his feelings for you through reading a short yet, sweet poem or haiku about you. It described how a gorgeous and alluring person you can be with a few compliments. Making you feel flustered.
•Are you surprised by his confession? You very are. He keeps his usual expression toward you and now, he tells you that likes you romantically?
•You're shocked but you happily accept his feelings for you, making the Ex-Decepticon feel delighted in a good way.
•Having free time together, is just by just relaxing with each other, maybe by snuggling together if both you and him wants to do it. Or he'll teach you how to meditate and write haikus and poems. Even if your writings are short, Drift will still praise you and says that your effort is wonderful. <3
