this is what happens to bad little girls who don’t go to bed when they’re told to.

Sorry all, I know a lot of you are very interested in how I made my lg’s bouncer (from the amount of messages we’ve received, and the amount of likes and reblogs) I DID promise some photos of my lg in it, and I HAVEN’T forgotten that promise, they are coming……but I decided to hang on for a bit as we have a very special friend coming this weekend for a play date, and will post pictures of both lg’s having fun in the bouncer then :)
I can certainly try to explain how I made it though:
What I used: -First off, you need a HEAVY DUTY sewing machine to do this sort of stitching, beware, you will wreck a standard machine! -waterproof pink nylon (eBay) -pink fleece (eBay) -pink webbing, pink clips, and four metal clips (all from an equine supplier) -a lump of wood (originally from a tree ;) -15m of bungee cord (from a hardware supplier -a metal and wood detector (for finding the ceiling joist) (from a hardware supplier) -a large hook with a course thread to fix into the ceiling joist (from a hardware supplier)
Sorry, I forgot to take photos of the ‘build’.
I started with the padding, two layers of pink fleece, with an extra two layers sewn in the crotch (pictured). I then sewed the pink nylon (think of tent material) around it, but without sewing the end up.
I cut the edges of the nylon to the shape of the fleece, pulled the fleece out, turned the nylon inside out, and replaced the fleece, and then sewed the end shut. (The sewing machine HATES sewing this stuff, and had to re-do a few spots where the machine refused to behave)
Then I stitched the webbing over the top, carefully judging the distance at the crotch to make baby as comfortable as possible.
The wooden bar: the straps are adjustable, and clip on at the front and the back, so you can either just lower it and step into it, or take the front two clips off, pull it in place, and attach the clips.
Fixing the hook in the ceiling was easy once I bought a wood/metal detector, I wouldn’t suggest ‘guessing’ where the wooden beams are!
The bungee cord was a little hard to gauge the right length (coiled) ….too long and the weight would stretch to its maximum, too short, and it wouldn’t give enough bounce…this took about six attempts before I got it just right.
The end result? Well, it certainly looks the part I think, as for a comfort/fun review….perhaps our friend will write something about it after her weekend :)
I hope this has answered most questions….next project? Perhaps a high chair?
Xx Daddy

yall need to give my girl @rowanellis her due credit. This is an amazing video that’s just one angry long take of energetic rage. Screenshots do NOT do it justice. Here’s the link:
There was a little babby running around my house last weekend. Diapergirl T aka Taylor is such a sweetheart.
*sets up a box held up by a stick*
*puts chocolates, spanking tools, paci gag, wine, rope, a coupon for unlimited snuggles, and snuggly blankets under it*
*dresses up in the cutest outfit I own and climbs in myself*
Now to wait for a Mummy…
…this has to work. It’s the perfectest trap….

This was one of my Valentine’s Day gifts. Apparently it’s my new lines notebook for when I get in trouble. Seems like more of a present for him than me. 😒😋
