hey cas! this is such a random question but i was wondering what your total ao3 word count is per year and as a whole… my friend didn’t believe me when i told her you had 124 works
sweating nervously. it's actually 125 works as of today
anyway, my total word count is one million, twenty-two thousand, three hundred and thirty two. so far this year it's 116k! in 2025 i hit 278k, but usually it's around 150-200k per year :)
speaking of which, my six-year ao3 anniversary is on june 20! i cannot believe how much the fanfiction community has given me, and i'm so happy to celebrate six years with you all. huge huge thank you to everyone who reads and enjoys my works!

if there's one thing i like, it's a weird battle-hungry maniac! (source: i was a childe main for 3 years.) i'm writing a lohen fic rn, which should hopefully be posted in time for his release! good luck to everyone wishing for him :D
cool detail: lohen catches his knife by the blade when he's talking to varka, but after varka recognizes the poison and offers to join him, he catches it by the handle! a great way to show that his unhinged personality changes from a danger to himself and others (knife pointing inward), into a weapon for the knights to use (knife blade at their service)
as much as i love DOOMED yaoi will you ever write soft and/or not doomed/pre doomed (were they ever pre doomed?) dottore and pantalone (if you write them at all)
of course! i love nothing more than un-dooming the doomed ships. in fact, i have a panttore comedy fic in the works right now! in which pantalone meets the other segments, and they're all very fond of him. as a result, 35 gets jealous of... himself??

(first 10min of 6.6 quest spoilers) babe wake up there's a new addition to the kaveh philosophy...
thinking about how kaveh calls himself an idealist out of guilt, and how this influences his self-perception. even when he does good things, he doesn't think of himself as a good or selfless person; he just thinks of it as making amends for his past
but even in the roleswap, where he doesn't have that guilt, he's working to give everything he has to others and improve their lives. he's doing the same good in the world; it's not out of guilt this time, but instead out of a genuine heart. he's the same idealistic, caring person regardless of his own circumstances!
everyone can see his good heart, except for himself. it's hard for people to truly understand themselves, indeed!
i love having artist friends. i say some nonsense like "qifrey with a sprout shaped ahoge in his hair but in a sad way" and then i get PEAK in return
my vision: a chapter of witch hat kitchen in which qifrey decides he wants to get the girls to think alcohol doesn’t taste like shit, so in usual qifrey style, he makes a themed menu (i'm thinking penne alla vodka, bananas foster, and an entire black forest cake). he makes the full meal. just as he's finishing olruggio says “wait, we don’t Want them to like alcohol, they’re twelve” and qifrey is like “shit you’re right,” and then they have to speed-eat the dinner and the whole black forest cake by themselves
