Well, if it well help ease your mind, your children will always throw around ‘I hate you’ over the most dramatic, ridiculous things, but as long as you do what you believe is best for them, they’ll never truly hate you.

I don’t think children will ever truly be for me. The twins aren’t mine. Seeing them once every few days is far different than being their mother.
Oh? Why do you think that? Seeing all of these new children in your family hasn’t made you want any yourself?

I was there when they were born. I held them in my arms minutes after they were born. They are beautiful. How could I not be enamored by them?
Ah, well of course. You just made a point that you weren’t very fond of children, but I suppose being there when they are born can change one’s mind.

Oh, I can’t imagine that! They’re still so little. I’ve never really liked children, but they’re special to me. Do you miss having little ones around Dragonstone?
Not at the moment, but I’m sure I will soon. Valaena is just over a year old, after all. Though I do miss being able to hold her with her trying to squirm and crawl away.
Why so enamored with these particular children tho?

Oh and it happens much too fast. I barely have any little ones left. All of my little are running around the castle yelling “No!” all day long.

I’ve been thinking. Do you think the children would like to go to the capital? I have some council matters there I need to tend to there and it will probably take some time. Maybe it’d be good for them to see their family there.
I know Jacaerys would. Rhaegon is his very best friend, after all. I’m sure the twins would enjoy a trip away from Dragonstone--they do get bored rather often.

We are in times of peace and you have a beautiful family. You had Lord Rodrik, and your children, as well as all the rest of the Forresters back in Ironrath. You have a home that awaits you, rather than just a place of refuge.
It’s not just you and I. Yes, Mother and Father and Aerion are gone, but we have our own family now, and Aerion’s family.
Everyone says that. During the war, everyone would tell me that I acted like I was born in Winterfell, a northerner at heart. I did love the North then I spent a year lost there. I suppose so. I don’t really know how to be the lady of a house. I’m sure I’ll be able to learn.
Well, I think it’s rather obvious that you have more of your mother in you than your father, and not just by your looks. I’m sure you’ll learn fast and well. Both sides of your family have that quality.

A lady in the North and a princess. Aegon constantly reminds me that I’ll have to represent House Targaryen. She’s been Lady Forrester for decades I’m not sure she’ll want to let it go.
