This isn't my usual sort of post but I have to get this off my chest. I think people often judge too quickly without digging a bit deeper, especially when it comes to a sensitive topic such as the landmine scene. I rarely see anyone in the landmine space glorify or romanticize self-destructive behaviors, instead, I see people being open and expressing their vulnerability. I think people confuse openness with glorification because both shed light on a subject. In my opinion, I believe jirai kei is an outlet for those who struggle with mental illness but still want to feel cute, even if we are covered in scars. I hope this makes sense ๐·°(৹˃ᗝ˂৹)°·๐
