KITTY WILDE
Kitty was excited for her date with Jake, she had a feeling he was going to ask her out and make things official with her. But the news Quinn had told her made her heart shatter. She acted like she didn't care because she was pissed off at Quinn, but it did hurt. Maybe it was karma for making out with Sam. Either way she couldn't let it get to her, it was in the past, she just wished Jake would admit it. She found herself sitting in front of her huge mirror in her bedroom and she let her hair down out of its bun, luckily it flowed perfectly. "You can do this. It's just one mistake and he won't ever lie again." Kitty could be vindictive when she wanted to be, like the whole gossip blog. That was all her and she planned on keeping it a secret. Playing victim whenever Quinn tried to accuse her of being the one to run it. Throwing herself under the bus helped, too.
She pulled out her mess of make up and slowly started to apply some of it and her mind went to the idea of Jake and Quinn kissing. It was killing her. She placed her make up down and looked at herself in her mirror. "If he didn't like you he wouldn't have asked you out on this date. He wouldn't want to be a better person for you." She was trying to convince herself but it was hard. Kitty had been betrayed by three people her whole life, all three of them being someone she loved dearly. First, her first love who ripped her to shreds emotionally. Then her father, and shortly after that Marley. She slammed her hands on her table and just glared into the mirror. "Stop sulking and get ready, Wilde." She finished applying her make up and then went to her closet trying to figure out what to wear. He never specified what they were going to do.
She finally decided on a high waist skirt and a cute top to go with it. When she was dressed she examined herself in the mirror and put on a smile. She heard a knock at her bedroom door and turned to see her mother staring at her. "Do I look okay?" She got a simple nod from her mom who just gave her a hug. She was sorry for being so mean lately, she's just been stressed out from work or something. "It's okay, mom. I understand. But can we have this heart to heart tomorrow during Thanksgiving? I've got a date tonight and he should be here any-" Kitty cut herself off when she saw the facial expression on her mom's face. "Mom?" She was upset again and decided to yell this time. Kitty just let her mom go on as she grabbed her phone and a few things before pushing past her mother.
She followed the small blonde down the stairs and Kitty heard a knock at the door. "Can we please not do this right now mom? I really like this guy and things have just been crazy and I need tonight to go well. So, just stop and we'll talk tomorrow. I love you." Kitty just looked to her mom and then opened the door, quickly coming outside to greet Jake. "Hey." All the tension she just had quickly went away the moment her eyes locked onto his.
