Feeling Lily kiss his cheek, a smile tugged at his lips. All he wanted was for Lily to be happy, and slightly impressed. Luckily he knew one of the owners of the restaurant which had panned out in his favor. It wasn’t like he had gotten the place for free, but definitely wasn’t like anyone else if they had wanted that. Watching Lily look at the sky, he took a seat in his chair, “It’s pretty amazing, yes? Watching the sunset while eating. I took the chance to have them make your favorite foods.” He said as a man came out and introduced himself. Putting his own napkin in his lap, the man pulled out a bottle of wine, pouring generous portions for each of them before saying the first course would be out. Two people followed out momentarily placing caprese salad in front of them. “Figured something light to start us off, since you’re in for some of the best pasta alfredo you’ve ever had.” Okay, so Eddie was pretty impressed himself at the moment. “So, alright, how excited are you for the book launch? It’s right around the corner. Iris and I each want a copy, you know. I also believe that my mother wants a copy as well, you might want to sign it for her.” he said reaching for the glass of wine. “To the beautiful Lily Collins, who was nice enough to bless me with your presence tonight.”

Lily brought her attention back to the man in front of her as he spoke. “IT’s incredible. I can’t believe you did all of this. I don’t know how you did all of this. Don’t tell me. I don’t want to ruin the magic.” When he’d originally asked her out Lily hadn’t expected anything like this. She knew Eddie so she knew it was bound to be amazing and romantic but she hadn’t envisioned him going to these lengths. He was trying to impress her, which was unnecessary but she wasn’t about to tell him that and spoil the fun. She felt like a princess, for real and she was going to enjoy it. Lily smiled as a man came out with a bottle of wine. She hadn’t really had much to drink since Iris had been born. Not that she had been a big drinker before. She put her napkin in her lap and smiled politely at the man as he poured their drinks but she couldn’t help but be more focused on her date. As soon as the man left two more waiters came out with their salads and Lily grinned. She was starving and she never said no to a good salad. Even if she knew the best was still to come. “I’m sure that’s true. You’ve really pulled out all the stops tonight, thank you.” When he brought up the book she felt a little giddy. “I’m excited and nervous. Its a bit of a crazy mess of emotions. I’ll make sure to set aside enough copies for everyone. We’ve already got a million orders in pre-sale.” She raised her glass and blushed at his toast to her. “To the wonderful and incredibly handsome Eddie Redmayne for everything.”

Possibly, as long as the baby is healthy, but I have years ahead before that happens. Still black and short probably looked hot on you, regardless. Well maybe you need to be the next one to ask him out on a date, since he asked first. Still going to wait for my book to be delivered to me. No? Hmm… well okay, my hands are off. Does he have any single brothers?

I still think you and Dianna should just adopt a baby and live happily ever after. Thank you. Maybe I do. I’ll sneak a peak at our schedules and see when they’re both open. I will hand deliver it to you. That’s a promise.

If I ever have kids, I hope I get one as good as Iris, but if anything I’ll end up with a little diva like myself. Boy or girl, diva in the making. Fancy dress, huh? Please say it was something like your Oscar dress, because that was absolutely gorgeous. That’s adorable, so, is another date going to happen. Can’t have him? I’m not good with being told no. Girl code? I thought Girl code was eliminated and it’s every woman for herself? Find, fine, though, my paws are off.

I’m sure diva or not you’ll still have a good baby. You’re too precious not to. Not that fancy. It was black but it was short and not as sexy. But thank you, I loved my dress. I’ve loved all my dresses lately. I’ve gotten lucky. I think so. We haven’t really gotten to talk about it too much. I had to jump back into work and the book release is coming up. Girl code has never been eliminated.
