As much as I really regret doing so, I have sent in a drop for Matsurika officially. It’s been hard because I love her muse a lot, but her muse has faded so much I don’t think I can keep her anymore in citta without getting kicked for inactivity. Hopefully her muse will come back again someday and I’ll take her back up again, but thank you all for the wonderful two years with Matsurika that I’ve had with her in citta.

That familiar red hair, familiar body pose, and that familiar scar, she knew it all too well. It was unfortunate she had been gone for so long, but it would appear she was back. The only thing she felt inside of her heart was joy and happy to see a friend once again.
The princess quickly trotted up to the red head and didn’t stop her quick movements. Suddenly her arms were circled around the woman to give her a hug as a most joyful expression was on her face.
❝ Miss Katarina....! I’m so happy to see you again!! ❞

So she wasn’t alone.
At that moment, something struck her. Everyone here was quite different. They all came from different worlds. Learning new things that they wouldn’t be able to before. Was this a chance for her to learn how to not be a tool of war?
Sice loved the thrill of battle. It exhilarated her. It breathed life into her weary bones. But what exactly made her feel so exhausted, anyways?
Maybe this would be a way to rest her tired soul.
“As long as ya ain’t bossin’ me around, I don’t mind. Takin’ on somethin’ I have no idea how t’do is a fool’s errand. Waste of time.”
❝ O-Oh no no! Of course not! I’m just here for help and directions if you need any that’s all! ❞ The question was though, could she even boss anyone around? The princess hardly had any sort of backbone, if she did only when the situation called for it. To boss someone around though, they’d probably laugh at her if she even tried.
❝ I wouldn’t say anything is a waste of time though...I-I mean, you get experience out of it right? That’s always a good thing to get. It’s like an adventure almost...hehe ~. ❞
Though besides just cooking noodles they actually needed some form of dish to make didn’t they? That’d probably be something good to ask. ❝ U-Um..well..if we’re going to cook noodles, is there a particular dish you like with noodles? We can try cooking it if you’d like. ❞

The cadet despised any sort of interruption, especially by those who struggled with minding her own business. Yet, the stranger before her only desired to help. If she truly wanted to improve her cooking, she’d need assistance. It’d also be nice to not have to face such a menial task alone. To some, it was just a simple errand. But to the reaper, it was a brand new experience. No learning to fight, learning to kill.
It was then that she felt a minor sting of pain in her head. The voice of her comrade rung in her head.
“There are other things to learn besides fighting!”
Deuce? When did she say that…?
“Noodles, eh? I guess it sounds easy, but I’ve never really… cooked anythin’ before. Never had th’time.”
Well she didn’t seem like she was mad at her for being a little nosey, so perhaps this was a good sign. The princess was very relieved over that fact and just kept the smile on her face.
❝ I can...understand that a little bit, I never cooked before until I came here. ❞ She said as she gave out a small soft laugh.
❝ Um...if you’d like...I can lend you a hand if you wish..? ❞

“Hmm?”
In the eyes of many in this city, no word could better describe this towering mass of humanity than ‘giant’. Most would consider an 8 foot tall man to be huge. How would one even cope with a man who stood at 22 feet tall? And with an expression akin to that of a demon as well.
Whitebeard knelt down after noticing a pair of eyes pointed in his direction. Was she staring at him, or was it mere coincidence? Whatever the case, she’d gained the attention of an intimidating individual. And when he finally spoke..
“Did I run into you, by any chance? If that’s the case, I apologize. It gets a bit hard to see who’s coming at me nowadays.”
Clumsiness was a feature part of Matsurika that she was unable to get rid of. Especially when she was out in public, be it her stumbling over her feet or words. Though at this point it would be both.
The poor girl would just be out on a stroll around the markets looking at neat little things that were for sale. Of course she wouldn’t try and buy any of them, for that’d be improper of her to try and buy things that were not necessary. At least those were the words of her hand maiden and father ringing within her head. That didn’t mean she couldn’t admire them though, it was a harmless act.
While turning away though from one shop, the princess proceeded to almost trip over her own feet while stumbling a couple steps forward. What she didn’t expect was to bump into something that felt like a giant wall. What felt like a giant wall though, appeared to be just a rather tall person.
Perhaps because he was so tall she felt incredibly intimidated, but that wasn’t a rather hard feat to make her feel such. She had her mouth open to try and stutter out an apology, but the words would not come out. Listening to him apologize now to her made even panic slightly more. Goodness, why couldn’t her words come out properly?
❝ N-No...no...no um...I’m..I’m very sorry! ❞
Following that poorly thrown out sentence the girl was quick to bow with her apology. ❝ I’m very clumsy so...so...so it’s my fault... ❞
When at war, cooking was the least of the student body’s concern. They mostly cared for their lives and the victory of their country. Having been accustomed to city life for quite some time now, the cadet thought it would be an appropriate time to learn how to cook. She had always wanted to, but kept it a secret from anyone. A hardened warrior of the respected Dr. Arecia Al-Rashia wouldn’t show a good image if she was caught messing around in the kitchen, now would she?
Eyes scanned over the aisles, looking for something easy to cook. But how the hell did any of this work? No clue.
“Embarrassing t’think that cookin’ something would kick my ass.”

❝ Um...if you want something easy maybe just go with something that has noodles...? ❞
❝ You just boil them and if you wanted to mix in vegetables for an example with it, it’d be fairly simple. ❞ The princess paused for a moment as she shook her head a little bit and gave an apologetic smile. ❝ A-Ah, but it’s just a small suggestion. Sorry if I am being nosey. ❞
❝ These popsicles and ice cream make this hot weather a little bit more better... ❞
At least Matsurika had not said no to the suggestion. She could see the bewilderment and confusion on her friend’s face, and Seras could not blame her for it. There were a lot of things that Matsurika did not know about Seras, and it wasn’t that the vampire was keeping things from her. It was more so that the chance to speak about such things never came up. Flying was the first of many things that she would learn about.
“Yes, I am able to, and I’m sorry I haven’t told you. But …” It was then that a frown made itself known on Seras’ face as she considered her next words. “Just don’t freak out about how it’s going to happen, because my method of flying is not by normal means.” And by that, she meant the method of sprouting wings on her back. Though she would have a wing, it would not be coming from where Matsurika was thinking.
The draculina approached the younger girl, her right arm swinging down to scoop up the girl and securing her into her arm. “Hold on, okay?” With that said, Seras’ left arm began to dissolve, the familiar shadows she was used to seeing coming to life as Seras took no time before she jumped up into the air. Her shadows began to move again as it took the form of a wing and they took off, the pair of girls gliding in the air for what seemed like several seconds before they touched ground again. With her feet settled nicely into the sand, Seras carefully let the princess down onto the ground, her shadows retreating back into an arm as she glanced at the other girl.
“Here we are. I hope that wasn’t too bad … or weird.” She said hesitantly, unsure of what Matsurika would think of her now. The last time she had flown while carrying someone was when the war had been over, and Seras had carried Integra all the way back home. It was exhilarating to get the chance to do it again, but she hoped Matsurika hadn’t been spooked.
❝ Oh no, don’t apologize about it! I’m sure such a thought never came up! ❞ She responded as she gave a small laugh. As flying was not a common hobby, such a thing wouldn’t even come across anyone’s thoughts she was sure. Though given the amount of people she had met or seen in this city, she could hardly say it would be the strangest thing she had seen here. If it happened the way she would think it would happen anyway.
At the mention of not freaking out by her means of flying a rather confused expression crossed her features. As she began to try and think about what she could mean, but she did not get the time to ponder much upon it. What she was thinking would be a normal flight turned out to be something a little bit more odd than what she was expecting. There was wings, well just a wing, but with a twist with something that was really not normal when one thought of flying.
Frail small hands were clinging almost desperately to her friend though as they were up and flying. At least she could see how her friend gets around quite easily, which she had to admit was better than walking or taking the trains. That could be her social anxiety side talking though as streets and vehicles had nothing but people in them. Not hard to see she was still a little nervous to be around others.
Being set down finally the princess took a moment to regain her composure from the nice little surprise. She looked to Seras soon afterward though and gave a small smile while grabbing her hand.
❝ It wasn’t bad or weird at all! Well I suppose a little strange since I don’t see that where I come from...b-but a little strange is always good! ❞ She said trying to assure her friend that all was well. ❝ We got her much faster and better because of you , so thank you Miss Seras! ❞
The vampire watched the girl run off with a smile on her face. Seras was glad that she was able to convince Matsurika with little effort. She really did want to spend more time with the younger woman, and the beach showing up created the best outlet for that meeting.
It was only a few minutes before said girl came running back, her attire similar to Seras’ own, causing the vampire to grin as she had taken her advice. “Good! Just take a moment catch your breath as I figure out how to get there.” It wasn’t like it was going to be too far, but Seras wanted to get there as fast as she could. Who knew when the next time a beach would show up.
An idea suddenly struck her, but she didn’t know how Matsurika would take it. “Matsurika … how well do you do with flying? Because … I can fly us to the beach. It would be much faster, and I assure you that you would be safe.”
The princess would just nod her head a couple of times as she did her best to catch her breath as fast as possible. This was so far working out fairly well to being a good day. Even if the heat was a little bit on the heavy side it was working out still pretty well. It was usually about that time of summer anyway were heat would rise up in temperature. The only downfall would be loosing the appliances that this modern age would offer to keep one cool. Which she would shyly admit she had grew a little bit fond of. Perhaps it was a sign to try and not to rely on such things anymore as much as she had been.
Blue hues looked over at the other in slight question however when questioned. Flying? She didn’t want to be blunt and right out say that was the most strangest question one could ask another. As it did confuse her slightly with such a question, even more with the fact that her friend could fly. This was a fact she did not know about her.
❝ I didn’t even realize that you could even fly! ❞
The thought pretty much amazed the princess. She couldn’t help but wonder if even wings would sprout wings and fly her away. ❝ I ...wouldn’t be against it! I haven’t done such a thing before. B-But I trust you enough to not drop me so..! ❞
