✜ – asuka shrugs her delicate shoulders, picking at the crumbs of her muffin as if it’s something she has to dissect. ❝ okay. should i just make a time for when you will be there ? ❞ she can’t help the pang of jealousy that hits her stomach, though –– the thought of having an actual family here... it’s one she’d deny thinking of by the time morning rolls around, but at night, she can’t help but let her mind wander. she strengthens her resolve. ❝ and what do you mean ‘the building’s noticeable’ ? is it a bright colour or something ? ❞ she huffs in indignation.

Why was it so hard not to get a snarky comment from her? It felt like she was talking to her sister, only it sounded like she was saying it for her own good.

❝It’s not much though… but if you insist on paying me back, I can give you my address. I’m telling you, you shouldn’t put yourself in such a hassle over something like this. If you’re tight on money, I’d rather you keep that for future necessities…❞

✜ – asuka nods her head firmly. ❝ okay. let me grab my phone, ❞ she fishes in her pocket for her phone to write the other’s address down on. her lower lip sticks out in annoyance. ❝ i’m not short on money, i just don’t like being in debt to people. or is that not a concept you understand ? ❞ she resists the urge to roll her eyes, instead, she gives a pointed look to her phone. ❝ so what’s your address ? ❞
