He was an eligible young king, and she was a beautiful young foreign princess, invited to a ball at Cair Paravel.

Peter would be a fool if he didn't see what his advisors were trying to do.

Still, Peter was cordial to the princess.

"I do, would you like to dance, Princess Belle?"

Arianne hadn't known Queen Susan the Gentle when she ruled Narnia.

The two women were separated by thousands of years, and lived in two different kingdoms.

But the granddaughter of King Frank I and his beloved Queen Helen found some kind of kinship with the gentle queen. It was almost like she was spending her time with her grandmother again. Both women were gentle and kind souls.

"I am alright, you just remind me of someone very dear to me."

"Do you dance?" Jamie to Edmund @timeguardians

Edmund's mum was acquaintances with Mrs. Carter up the road, so when the older woman had told his mother how her granddaughter was coming to visit the Carters from America, Edmund's mum had volunteered Ed to show Jamie Rogers a good time.

Jamie for her part, was a nice girl, Edmund had shown her London all afternoon and what at first seemed like a chore had been actually very nice.

Now they were at a dance hall, and Jamie was asking if he danced.

For a moment, the dark haired Pevensie thought back to the magnificent balls and feast he and his siblings had thrown back in Narnia. Many had said he was a good dancer, but he doubted those kinds of dances would help him here.

"I do." Edmund said, hoping she hadn't noticed him getting lost in thought and thought him rude.

"Would you like to dance?"

"Do you dance?" Susan to Caspian @timeguardians

"Yes." Before everything that had happened, Caspian had been hailed as a great dancer amongst his uncle's court.

Now, he was building his own court in an freed Narnia. The celebrations for his coronation had been going on for two days, and tonight was yet another ball to celebrate Narnia's new age.

"Will you do me the honor, Your Majesty?"

"You make it look so effortless when you dance, Lu." (Susan to Lucy) @timeguardians

"I've been practicing with some of the Dryads." Lucy smiled, the dryads were excellent dancers, especially the ones near the Dancing Lawn.

"Come dance with me, Su. It'll be fun!"

"You should have seen his face when you were dancing with him! It light up like -- like a thousand stars." (Susan to Adiela or Arianne) @timeguardians

Adiela blushed, when king Edmund had asked her to dance she had happily accepted, now the dance was over and Adiela's heart was racing, she loved to dance but she didn't realize the smile on her face was still there after the king had moved on to another partner.

And now King Edmund's eldest sister, Queen Susan had approached and commented on the way Adiela had lit up while dancing with the younger king.

"His Majesty is a wonderful dance partner, as I'm sure you know, Your Majesty." Adiela said, though she could feel her face burn even as she spoke.
