A map about me as an artist. I feel the need to connect everything to pimples because they symbolize the stress in my life and how ordinary and normal stress has become for me in my daily life including within my art. Folds are an unintentional addition to my “disorganized” aspect of my art life
ME!
I am Priscilla Villacres and I am from, study, and live in New York City. It's important to make and study art for me because it makes me feel as if I have something to do. I always have something to create and something I can look forward to and identify myself with. Because of typical art studies and my own teachers and influence I do consider myself a painter, but I see art in everything I do and everything I make. I love to paint and identify myself with paintings I make. Through my art however, I try and communicate the way I feel about broad ideas and moral but I mostly just try and communicate a working concept I may be using, which varies from work to work.
