Thursday, November 20th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and multiple disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm struggling to pay my bills and keep my utilities on!

I apologise for asking for help again. As most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling to make ends meet while on welfare. Due to my outstanding bills and ever-increasing debt, it has been difficult for me to make ends meet. These past few months have been absolute hell, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

However, I desperately need that kindness again, as I wasn't able to pay my bills last month, because I was behind on my rent, and I'm struggling quite a lot to pay them now. I owe £50.89 on my credit card and fees, due by Wednesday (26th). However, I won't receive my welfare until the end of the month, and to make things worse, my electricity & heating are almost out of their emergency credit, and it's going to be -7 tonight.

Again, I know this is a lot to ask, but if anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would mean a lot, and sharing helps just as much.

Emergency: I don't want to be stranded after my dad's cancer surgery!!

Wednesday, September 3rd: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman, and I regret needing to ask for help, but I need assistance in covering travel expenses to return home from my dad's after his cancer operation.

On August 15th, I received a call from the hospital regarding some check-ups my dad had due to a persistent cough he's had for some time. To our dismay, they've diagnosed him with throat cancer. We're still processing this, and my dad was given two options: chemotherapy or a laryngectomy (removal of the voice box).

He was admitted to the hospital on Sunday, the 31st, with his laryngectomy scheduled for yesterday, September 2nd. I spoke with the doctor afterwards, and thankfully, the surgery went smoothly with no complications. They just need to monitor his breathing closely since he has COPD, a condition we weren't even aware of until now.

I was informed that he’ll spend about a month recovering in the hospital, learning to breathe, eat, and communicate without his voice and through a stoma. However, while he is in the hospital, we need to return home, which puts us in a tough spot, as my sister and I could only afford one-way tickets.

A return trip costs £167 for two adults, which we are still struggling to raise. We also require some funds to cover our travel to and from the station here and back home. We plan to return home TODAY!!!

I know this is a big ask, but if anyone could spare even a small amount—just £1, $1, or €1—it would make a truly significant difference. Sharing this message would also help just as much.

Friday, August 22nd: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and multiple disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I need assistance in covering travel expenses to visit my dad.

I regret needing to ask for help at such a difficult time for many, and I understand this is a long shot, but I’m hoping someone out there can lend a hand to my family and me.

Last Friday (August 15th), I received a call from the hospital following some check-ups my dad had due to a persistent cough he's had for some time. Unfortunately, they found cancer in his throat. We’re still in shock and are faced with tough choices: chemotherapy or a laryngectomy (removal of the voice box).

He has been back and forth to The Royal London Hospital this week for tests and scans, today he had his blood taken along with a CT scan. Thankfully, they have said that as long as the cancer hasn't spread to other parts of his body, then the best option for survival is to undergo the laryngectomy which he has an appointment to go in for on Tuesday, September 2nd. (waiting for the hospital letter for this)

If everything goes well, he will spend 1 month in the hospital after the operation to recover and get accustomed to breathing, eating and communicating without his voice and through a stoma.

Currently, my sister is looking after him. And I've booked my ticket to visit on the 28th; however, we don't have any means of returning home, as we could only afford one-way tickets. It is £167 for a return trip, and we'll also need funds for an Uber/public transport.

Altogether, I'm hoping to raise £200. (previous funds have gone to help my dad get to and from the hospital for his tests)

My sister and I are disabled and depend on welfare, and our dad is living on a pension. We simply can’t afford this on our own, so any help would mean the world to us.

Wednesday, July 23rd: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and multiple disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm drowning in debt and struggling to pay my bills!!

I apologise for asking for help again, but as most of you are already aware from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot recently to make ends meet due to my rent arrears and outstanding debt, which keeps building up every month as I am unable to clear it.

To be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

I desperately need that kindness again, as I have been avoiding creditor calls and red notices to such an extent that my debt has grown to the point where I can no longer repay it on my own, leaving me in desperate need of assistance. I currently owe £237.33 in credit card/overlimit fees, which I cannot pay off with the limited welfare I receive on the 31st!!

Monday, July 14th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and multiple disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I am struggling to pay my bills and keep my utilities on!!

I apologise for asking for help again, but as most of you are already aware from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot recently to make ends meet due to my rent arrears and outstanding debt, which keeps building up every month as I am unable to clear it.

Monday, June 16th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm struggling to pay my bills, which have caused me to go into the negative.

I apologise for asking for help again. As most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling to make ends meet while on welfare. And due to my outstanding bills and ever-increasing debt, it has been difficult for me to get by. These past few months have been absolute hell, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

However, I desperately need that kindness again because I couldn't pay my bills last month, as I was behind on my rent and had to make up the shortfall, and I'm now struggling to pay them. My bank is overdrawn by £108.21 due to some of those bills, and I don't have enough groceries to last me until my next welfare payment.

I don't receive my welfare for another two weeks (30th). It's also my birthday on the 19th, and I would greatly appreciate some help in paying my negative balance and getting some food!!

Tuesday, June 10th: Happy Pride, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help, as I'm drowning in debt and struggling to pay my bills!!

I apologise for asking for help again. As most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling to make ends meet while on welfare. And due to my outstanding bills and ever-increasing debt, it has been difficult for me to get by.
