It bothers me a little how they always come out with the "but incest and/or pedophilia is weird!! Why are you thinking about that?!" thing. A lot of people say it's normalized, but I hardly ever see any of it. I saw a blog post and that's it.

Maybe it's because I'm bothered by purity culture, but I don't see the point in making everything fictional completely sanitized. At the end of the day, it doesn't have to affect real life like they say. Like, some random person drawing Liu and Jeff together doesn't affect your daily life. It's not popular enough to be considered normal. If it's obvious it's wrong and we all know it, why not just ignore it? I don't even ship them, but it pisses me off to see people complaining about it on my FYP. Like, dude, get a real problem.

(I say that when I'm also complaining about this now, but it's because in the last few months I've been seeing so many of those kinds of comments and I've kept it to myself for a while.)

It's more so that it's fiction and thus, not real, but yes. People who go out of their way to harass people instead of blocking tags give off virtue signalling quite a bit.

I used to be a hardcore creepypasta fan when I was like 10 or so. The simple concept of ppl writing whatever the fuck they wanted and finding someone else in the internet that was like "hell yeah, love this" always seemed so cool to me. I loved small creators being able to find an audience.

Being a fan did get me bullied tho, a lot. But now that I'm older and no longer in those toxic spaces I'm finding myself coming back to these stories and characters, and yeah, I might be cringe for doing so, but honestly I don't mind. Reconnecting with this Fandom feels like healing a part of my past self, yk? So I thank every creator writing fanfics, drawing fanart, and bonding over all of this.

People making more "realistic" creepypasta (aka "this character would hate you or rape you because he is EVIL") are so annoying like WHO CARES? Looking at the humanity in Characters like jeff, Toby and what not and how they would act in a relationship IT'S FUN and this weirdly aligns with the proship and antis I've seen on tiktok and people thinking they have to be the morally better one of the conversation.

Just have fun and leave me and my interpretations alone, idc how "unrealistic" it is, nothing is realistic in this fandom for fuck sake
