I fully agree with that! I feel so bad for him :( Sammy is the only one who kinda likes him >.<
They aren’t the characters incarnate, and while Ink Bendy may be demonic in nature, he’s still the closest thing to his cartoon self that can possibly exist, as demonstrated by the fact that no other Bendys were able to emerge from the machine.
I think a perfect Bendy IS possible^^ They just never TRIED to make another one! “Since that time, no other ATTEMPTS of this particular figure have emerged” :)
The idea of Perfect Bendy was doomed from the start, because even though Perfect Borises and Perfect Alices do exist, they’re partially human.
Why are Alice and Boris partially human? Because the look a bit like humans (Boris being antromorphic and all)? Bendy looks a bit like a human, too!^^ Also, looking human or not shouldn’t be an issue when creating living cartoons. Or does it?
1. Sammy has more of a deranged worship thing going on, but I getcha.
2. No, they did make attempts. Said attempts just didn’t work; if they hadn’t made any other attempts, it would’ve been worded as “no other attempts have been made”. When Thomas says “emerged” he means that no other versions emerged from the ink. This could also be confusing wording on the part of the writers, but I’m pretty sure that this is what they meant.
3. Alice and Boris, whenever we see them, have human souls attached (see: Allison, Tom, and Susie. We don’t know who the perfect Boris we meet in Chapter 2 is, though he might be Wally, but that’s uncertain). They’re created from former studio employees; in fact, you can see other people being inked inside the chambers of the machine, where there are lost ones to be found. If you search, you can even see that another Boris is being created. The matter of looking human isn’t important, as that wasn’t Joey’s intention anyways. They believed that Ink Bendy was such a disaster because he lacked a soul, making him unique, as he’s the only living cartoon that does not possess a human soul.

EDIT: I said earlier that Bendy is unique, as he is the only living cartoon that doesn’t have a soul, but this might be up for debate, since the Butcher Gang members and some random searchers may not have souls either. The world may never know!
Here’s an analysis I wrote on Ink Bendy’s character. To sum up, his arc was under our noses the entire time.
Spoilers (and somewhat lengthy post) under the cut!
I know the fanbase was disappointed with the ending. I was, too. For me, however, the biggest letdown here was the lack of development for our titular character. How are we supposed to feel when our Big Bad has no real personality or motivation?
    Then, I noticed something.
    During this audio log, Thomas describes Ink Bendy as unworldly, but doesn’t express outright fear regarding him. This might not seem too notable at first, but here’s the thing; Bendy wasn’t attacking people at this point, and we don’t know WHY he wasn’t. He also notes that this is the only version of Bendy that came to life, while all other attempts failed to emerge. The reasons for this are unclear, but one possible explanation is that this version of Bendy is the closest thing to the character being truly brought to life that exists.
    The next tape that covers Bendy’s origin is by Joey Drew himself:
    Joey’s remarks upon Bendy are, in all honesty, somewhat cruel in nature. Bendy, at this time, is still passive, being allowed to roam freely. However, Joey tells the folks at Gent to keep him locked up tight, as his appearance might scare off investors. This could relate to the boards with “Bendy” labelled on them that we see in the Chapter 4 Haunted House, but that’s besides the point. It may also be of note that while Thomas previously only described Bendy as “unworldly”, Joey refers to him with disgust. Either Thomas is really good at taking things in stride, or Bendy’s appearance may have gradually deteriorated from slightly malformed to notably unnerving.
   Getting on to the meat of this little analysis, we have the throne room:
    Aside from the adorable animations based off of the posters chosen as fan contest winners, this room has a much deeper significance than may be apparent at first glance. Note that all of these cartoons are being played from projectors similar to Norman’s; this is very possibly why Bendy killed Norman in Chapter 4. But why would Bendy be playing all of these cartoons in his throne room? He even plays some of them in the main pipe room of the ink machine (along with a message of “who’s laughing now” scrawled between cinema screens, which he possibly wrote himself).
    The reason for this is the same as for why he becomes upset when his cardboard cutouts are destroyed. It’s the same reason why he turns to watch the final reel, which only displays “The End” in old-timey calligraphy, rather than killing you where you sit (on top of his throne, his own creator bringing about his end).
    It’s because this hulking, murderous, enigmatic demon IS Bendy.
    Ink Bendy is the purest form of Bendy that can possibly exist. The idea of Perfect Bendy was doomed from the start, because even though Perfect Borises and Perfect Alices do exist, they’re partially human.     And after Bendy was brought to life, and ostracized for being unworldly and unnerving, even after he was benign for a good while, he became hateful. He couldn’t be Perfect, but he wanted to be, and his old cartoons and cutouts were the only thing he had to remind him of what he used to be.
    Bendy may have been unworldly from the beginning, but what turned him violent was the rejection he faced from those who had created him.
    Including Henry, who left before the ink machine was even built.

So last month, I created an essay that checks in at about 200 pages long on Docs and shared it with some friends, but never posted it here. I’m gonna do that now.
To summarize, it’s an essay deconstructing Gamzee; taking a long and hard look at his actions, motivations, and the subtext surrounding his character. He’s a character most people take at face value, and this paper is an attempt to change that.
This is the first theme I’ve ever posted! It’s inspired by PMD2, one of the greatest games, if not the greatest game, of all time. I’ve never made a theme for others to use, so the code’s kinda sloppy and there might be bugs. Message me if you’re having an issue with the theme and I’ll try my best to help.Â
