Hey people!
I'm here for support and advice. You don't have to have your question/problem posted if you don't want and if you ever need someone to talk to I am always here, no matter the problem.
Hey Chloe, I'm about to move to a new school and I'm really nervous about it. Have any tips for me?
Hey, I’ve been through that situation countless times so I know how daunting it can be. So here’s some things for you to help you get through it:
-don’t avoid eye contact with people, remember, people will view you as one of three things: an easy target, a potential new friend/someone to take under their wing, or a threat. Try to smile confidently when you look them in the eye so as not to come off as too abrasive.
-don’t be quiet. You’re not going to make friends without speaking to people so try to talk to anyone and everyone. People who sit near you in class are a good place to start.
-try to find common ground. Try to talk with people about your interests. I realise that you may not be quite confident enough to do this yet so there are a couple things you can do, for example: listen to your music loud enough for others to hear, wear something that shows your interests(wristbands, etc.), etc. Doing this will make other people talk to you about it.
- don’t give in to bullies. If people start to bully you try to find people you’re comfortable with and stick with them. Don’t be on your own. Trust me, it’s not a good way to be.
I hope this helps, and if you need support or help of any kind then I’m right here for you.
Anyone else in a similar situation? The person who asked this finally started her new school and has made tonnes of friends already. Glad to help, asker!
'Hey Chloe, I've been arguing with my parents for a while now and I can't seem to please them. My stress level is so high right now and I don't want to add to it.'
Hey, I’ve been in the same situation myself and there aren’t many things that you can do but there are still a few options. - do you have a close family member you can trust? Ask to stay with them for a few days and explain to your parents that you just need a break from family life for now. If you need to, rant to them. This can also work with a close friend and/or just going on a school trip. -as much as you might not want to do it, talk to your parents and tell them how they’re making you feel. Sit them down separately and talk to them in a calm manner. Don’t scream or shout, even if they do. -remember: your parents might also have a lot going on right now so make sure to do your bit around the house and keep calm around them
Although the asker hasn't even partly resolved the situation right now, they have thanked me for my ongoing support throughout this difficult time right now
'I used to be a drug addict and I'm afraid my new boyfriend will judge me for it if I tell him...'
If he loves you, he won’t judge you for it. Just be yourself around him and you’ll do well. If he can’t accept you for who you are then he’s not worth it anyway, Chloe x
Results: 'hey, I finally told my boyfriend about my past and he flipped. He started calling me names and being verbally abusive towards me. Even though it didn't work out great from you're advice, you were right. He isn't worth it and I dodged a bullet there. Thankyou. '
Not the greatest turn out but I think everyone will agree with me when I say she can do better than that type of guy.

“Hey Chloe, I’ve been having a problem with my girlfriend and I’m pretty sure she’s cheating on me. She’s always flirting with other guys but I don’t want to lose her”
Asker, you can do better. If she’s always flirting with other guys talk to her about it first and if she doesn’t stop, end it. I know you don’t want to lose her but if she can’t respect the boundaries of a relationship you shouldn’t put yourself through that. Hope everything works out, Chloe x
Just thought I'd post the results of this- 'hey Chloe, I talked to my girlfriend and told her how I felt. She apologised and explained everything that's been happening lately and she's stopped the flirting. Thanks! '
