She says, deadpanned at his accusatory tone, sticking the rest of the treat in her mouth and crunching on it, setting the little bag down on the floor before wiping her claws on her coat.

It’s molten magic pretty much, there’s a process in which it used to also be buffered by geothermal energy, but I’ve polished it enough so that I just stuffed a bit of the magic into a hybridized steel vessel so there’s no worry of it failing and melting you down, thank god I had a decent head start but man it was such a headache back then the last royal scientist, just up and vanished. She clears her throat, patting her coat down as if searching for something before just reaching into her inventory and pulling out a juice pouch and taking a sip.
“Anyways, that DT injection is still on the docket, it’ll pretty much just fool the system into thinking you have an actual full functioning soul, letting you manage more of the functions like the self repair and whatnot. You could always steal a soul for me if the thought of going through that process turns you off.”
The coward’s way out, in a sense. She jokes of course, this is impossible if there aren’t any humans or monsters. Darkners simply don’t have one, or have enough of one. That she can tell at least. She’ll wait until he comes back with Lazarus before continuing on.
“Buttttt on the topic of extortion, I would Appreciate it if you’d go kill something and send me the recording of that battle, just to see how well you can actually wield the bonuses I gave you. Something that can actually put up a fight, if you will.”
Alphys once again pokes her hand in the air, pulling out a thick welder’s glove, slippng that on, and just...stares at Lazarus for a minute before grabbing him suddenly by the neck, holding him at an arm’s length while she CHECKS him.
“One of your new features is a decently strong laser, three settings. I doubt you know the beauty of light based attacks and what each one does, so I’ll tell you. Blue will damage if the target moves through the beam, so the method of dodging that is by standing still. Orange is the opposite, it will hurt the target if they DON’T move. White is simply straight damage no matter what. Used to have that as a puzzle in the core for purposes, mostly against human intruders. Mettaton had a similar thing, his light attack, used a combination of that during his fight against Venser. Something about a disco ball. His idea, not mine. I just modified your blaster to be able to change weapon types. You also got a beam sword, test that out sometime and see if my calculations are perfect. The color thing also applies.”
All the while she explains the basics while avoiding the flailing of the spamling, pulling those wings out to see if there’s any other mutations caused by the injection, as well as taking a look at the basic stats.
